A title that very few people would enjoy. The game’s slow speed and historical context will only appeal to strategic and war enthusiasts, rather than the typical average gamer.

For fans of the series, I am sure this will be an enjoyable romp, going back to the universe and reliving some great memories of the past, but for new players I would recommend looking at one of the more modern masterpieces than picking this up.

LittleBigPlanet Karting is the epitome of a missed opportunity. All the right ingredients (LBP's grounding in customization, United Front's history with making good kart racers) were right but have all come together to make a wrong. Whether you are a fan of the franchise or not I would stay away from LittleBigPlanet Karting and gravitate more towards the plethora of better options out there (Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed, Mario Kart etc.). This poor use of a good license is unfortunately destined to finish in last place.

The entire development team seems to have just tried too hard to make a decent title, and changed key areas of their previous titles which simply shouldn’t have been changed. Sadly, this Need for Speed title is the first one for a long time that needs to be left on the shelf.

To conclude, Sorry is your typical Xbox Live Arcade title. It’s fun for a game or two, then you are unlikely to play it again, especially at the 800 Microsoft Point price tag.

There are simply too many bugs in the game, stuff that really shouldn't have gotten past the game's testing, it's absolutely no fun to suffer random system freezes and dropped hosts.

Personally, I think Generic Japanese Role Playing Game # 23 would be more suitable for it. It's average at best and one that should be avoided. Let's hope some of the future Square Enix produced titles turn out much better.

Kill Team from the outset looked like nothing more than a PR stunt to help boost the sales of Space Marines, it's just worrying to think that all the time and effort that went into making Kill Team would have found better use improving the big brother Space Marine game.

It's clear that Harmony of Despair tries to be something different but it's almost impossible to do when the contents of the game are recycled. It's like a horrible person trying to turn over a new leaf...by being a horrible person.

Dragon Age and Oblivion both do the same thing much better, with the latter being about four years old now. Two Worlds II just doesn't feel new or original in anyway.

With Halo 4 and Black Ops 2 just released, there are much better investment opportunities in the world of the FPS for your disposable income, making this re-release Doomed to the bargain bin.

Fuel had the makings of a great game but just falls over too many hurdles. It is fun in free mode but that isn't enough to nearly warrant a purchase.

The gameplay is short and shallow.

The Bemani series is like a vampire that just won't die. However much Konami drives a stake through its heart with extremely poor graphics and un-original gameplay, which literally bleed it dry.

The framerate is so shockingly bad, it effects the entire enjoyment of the experience.

As with many film tie-ins this feels very rushed and it's evident here more so than usual.

On the whole, National Geographic: Wildlife Quiz is more of an educational resource than a video game, providing players with some incredible high-definition footage and interesting information, yet poor and quite tedious in terms of gameplay. Unless you're thoroughly interested in wildlife, this is one to avoid.

Overall it seems for everything good WRC 3 has, there are three or four bad things. It's not the easiest game to pick up and play and it certainly isn't that fun. Serious fans of rally sport will probably enjoy this game, purely because of their love for the sport. As for the rest of us, there's plenty other games around which your time would be better spent playing.

Is this worth the 1200 MS points Microsoft is asking? No. Oh, and if I have to hear the words "Tango Down" ever again, I'm going to shoot myself.

That said Alive comes across as rushed and to be honest, could probably have been released as a DLC pack to Reflex. Terrible career mode unlock system and progression combined with difficult and frustrating handling means this game will only appeal to fans of the MX vs. ATV series.

Ultimately, despite the flair and lushness of the presentation, the game is pretty monotonous, with the same hack and slash, or in some cases run-and-gun gameplay over and over again.

It will probably keep young gamers interested for a while, but for anyone who has experienced the dizzying heights of gaming's pinnacle titles, this is best left avoided unless you're wanting a sour taste and an unjustifiably lighter wallet.

This is the worst 360 game I have played yet. The graphics aren’t bad but a dodgy frame rate along with terrible level design, handling and collisions makes Fatal Inertia barely playable.

Overall, this is definitely a game to avoid. There is a slightly enjoyable title hidden within 20 hours of gameplay, but ask yourself is it really worth all that work for something that even at it's best is average.

Overall the game is bland. As bland as the colour of the snow. As shallow as a frozen puddle. As frustrating as Shaun White himself. Ubisoft tried to take the crown from the likes of Amped and SSX but tripped on the carpet leading to the crown and spiked themselves on the Royal sceptre nearby.

The problem that crops up with Buku Sudoku is a matter of value. There are literally hundreds of sources on the web where you can play Sudoku for free. Why would you pay money to play something that you can play for free?

In short, don't buy this game. The fact that it only has about an hours worth of gameplay for 800 MS Points is enough to make this a stupid purchase. If you have fond childhood memories of Turtles in Time, keep them by not playing this game. it will only ruin those memories.

Hydrophobia is meant to be a trilogy, meaning we can expect another two parts to flow down the line, but unless some changes to the saving, puzzles, combat and controls are forth coming in the sequels, they're likely to be equally as washed out. Now, where's my towel at.

Everything here feels too generic. Maps and characters, other than the primary ones, all look the same, combat is dull and repetitive and it feels like it was designed for a much earlier console.

With regret I must say that Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 is not a good fighting game because of its overly complicated controls.

In closing, this game wasn't really my bag. The story was poorly executed from the cutscenes to the plot and the controls threw me off a little. The game has a steep learning curve and no real incentive for you to continue playing. The game is open ended so you could continue your adventures but I had my fill of the game a long time ago. I am sure fans of the series will love the new instalment, but with so many other titles being released each week now as we build up for Christmas, I expect this to get little attention and would be hard pressed to recommend otherwise.

If you are a hardcore fighting game fan then Deadliest Warrior probably isn't for you. It feels very clunky at times and will be short lived as the unlockables can be obtained in just a few hours.

Simply put, there is no reason that anyone should pay money to play this game.

As nice as Monster Madness looks, it cannot make up for the lack of fun on offer, 90% of which is mashing the X button.

The overall feel of the gameplay is average, bordering on bad.

The Harry Potter series has had its fair share of the spot light with the films and the books but for the games then that is something else. If you want to get this game in the shops then it would be best to wait for it to go on sale in the bargain bin. Once at the end of this game, you feel like a muggle more than a wizard and going to Hogwarts was a waste of time.

With most of the tracks, events and overall gameplay remaining similar over all areas of the game it certainly wouldn’t have taken a lot of time to develop.

A disappointing experience. Whilst there are moments of greatness; such as playing as an Elk and splattering fields of Orcs with boisterous branches, the rest is a travesty.

Poor graphics, poor gameplay, poor everything.

This tedious control system just turns the main focus of the game, the battles, into a task rather than an enjoyment. Not only does the SIXAXIS control scheme not feel comfortable or natural, it just doesn’t work. And the fact that you can’t even turn it off makes it even more of a burden.

At 800 MS Points, it is bordering on expensive. There is no last ability factor, the game is dull and lifeless and you’ll spend more time dying and respawning than enjoying the game.

Despite the great looks and fantastic “Create-a-fighter” ability, FaceBreaker is a pretty shallow experience that comes across as more frustrating than fun.

Doritos: Dash of Destruction isn’t the best of games available from the Xbox LIVE Arcade, but for free it is a must-download – especially for achievement junkies looking to earn some easy GamerScore.

Overall this game will provide a repetitive and dull experience for the majority of players but like always fans of the genre will still find much enjoyment beyond the glaring flaws.

In the end, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City disappoints across the boards. Dropping the ball in every aspect, the game turns the tense and extremely atmospheric Raccoon City into a dull and boring experience that feels more like a chore than a journey, only made tolerable by the 4-player co-op mode, ensuring that you don't have to suffer alone.

Ultimately, Cyanide seems to have released a poor excuse for a TV show to Videogame port with Game of Thrones. It's aimed at fans of the show, and you'll soon realise that Cyanide have used little imagination when creating this title, no doubt knowing that fans will lap this tripe up simply for having the title 'Game of Thrones' on the front cover.

It's quite a shame really, because it has a few nice ideas in it, but unfortunately they are buried beneath a mountain of mediocrity. As it stands though, this is a game that isn't even worthy of the bargain bin, rather the trash bin.

Whereas the Flash series is known for its over the top gore and unbelievable injuries caused by and to the cutesy animals, False Alarm will be known for its poor controls and short length.

Normally, you would expect a happy ever after though, unfortunately, Fairytale Fights has no fairytale ending. Whilst it is a unique title with some strong ideas amid a distinctive style, the lack of a true storyline, the clumsy combat and repetitiveness of the title fail to make Fairytale Fights a must-buy purchase.

Overall Battlezone offers little life span and just feels outdated.

Whilst WALL-E might be the most adorable robot you’ll ever see, the game certainly isn’t. The game feels rushed and is a very poor use of the license.

This is a title to rent rather than purchase because of its short term lifespan.

Top Gun isn't the worst flight combat game out there, but there are also far better ones. It's sad that such a great film franchise has been giving so little respect, as Top Gun the film has all the ingredients for making a fabulous game.

Whether it's a good Kinect game, a good fighting game or a scratch for your Dragonball Z itch that you are looking for, none can be found here. Unfortunately a combination of unrealistic ideas and lazy game design have made Dragonball Z for Kinect a must miss title for both fans and newcomers alike.

The massive kill counts and lack of any allied AI once again leaves you as 'the one guy who can defeat an entire nation'. The war was won because of team work, not one single person. I realise that this can never truly be conveyed through a video game, but for that notion to be so crudely thrown to one side is very disappointing. Their lack of understanding extends to their apparent obliviousness to such facts as the US Air Force not even being in existence when you supposedly join up in the story, to the addition of missiles, that were barely on the drawing board by the end of the war. It seems that the developers have taken on a 'that'll do' approach to Damage Inc. Pacific Squadron WWII, well I can tell you now, that simply won't do.

There was a lot of hope for Aliens: Colonial Marines but it seems the gaming world is let down with another attempt to make a successful film tie in. The review should give you a few good reasons why the game suffers but other aspects such as the overused catchphrase ‘Stay frosty!’ and anticlimactic ending are a couple more to add to the list and this is why you should wait until this game gets thrown into the bargain bin before you purchase.

The developers are to be saluted for their valiant stab at innovation and that is very admirable, but when the core gameplay just isn't fun, all the innovation (and men with compensatory robot exo-skeletons) in the world won't redeem a title.

Disappointingly then, the original game created in the '80s on inferior and far less powerful hardware trumps the remake, which should be a little embarrassing for a game developed this late in to the console lifecycles.

Arcade classic fans may be willing to shell out 1200MS Points to fill their needs, but for the rest of us there are much better, and cheaper, alternatives on the market.

On the whole, Ben 10 Alien Force: The Rise of Hex is a poorly developed Xbox Live Arcade title. The repetitive puzzles, the short story mode and the lack of decent game modes doesn’t deem the game a worthy purchase – especially at the 800 Microsoft Points price tag.

Overall, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is a poorly developed video game. Despite having the potential with a great set of characters and interesting storyline, the repetitiveness of the title and the lack of variety make it a tedious game to play, that's only saved by the occasional moment of humour. This is definitely one to avoid.

It can be exciting in bursts, but when you look back at it, Jane's Advanced Strike Fighters is barely fit to be sold in any retailers bargain bin.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a terrible FPS.

Overall, Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime has some great ideas that would have made for an excellent game if the execution had been done well. The repetitive nature of the game, the unintelligent AI and the lack of drop-in/drop-out play are key problems within the title that let it down massively. This is one Xbox Live Arcade title that should be avoided.

This game might appeal to fans of looking for items in small images but that's it. I'm not really sure how they could have improved the game overall. Maybe get rid of the stupid plot which has nothing to do with the game, reduce the stupid price tag of 800 Ms points and you might have something to keep you occupied for 30 minutes or so.

Unless you have more money than sense I highly suggest you give this one a miss and go play something else.

Disappointing single player, poor character models, awful sound, and the online portion of the game is hideously broken.

Despite the game being only three chapters long with off-line co-op, the whole package is quite simply awful, boring and dull.

The original Golden Axe is available almost everywhere these days and this is about a thousand times more fun than this poor excuse.

Overall, as with many KOEI games since Dynasty Warriors launch in 2000, you’d have to be an avid fan to fork out £40 each time, but sadly for Warriors Orochi 2 it’s going to take much more than an avid fan to buy this title. Apparently Orochi is reborn, don’t count on it.

Overall, I think the idea of a Tour de France game appeals more than it does in reality. The reality is the game is extremely slow, tiring and offers very little frills.

Word Puzzle for Xbox Live should be avoided, simply because you will typically find more enjoyment from the pen and paper variety.

Dart board - £20, Darts - £5, Not having to play this game – Priceless.

Overall, Monster Jam brings nothing new to the genre. It feels like a direct port of the PlayStation 2 version with added achievements, and with the release of Race Driver: GRID at the same time, Monster Jam will never really get off the starting line.

In recap, Omerta is a poor attempt at making a turn based mafia game and this is truly a shame, it looked like it could have been so much more. The idea is quite novel, Omerta though was poorly executed and has left the door open for someone else to come along, use the same idea, refine it and produce a much better product.

Overall, Rise of the Guardians doesn't bring anything new or exciting to the table. While the game's difficulty level is at a decent standard for younger gamers and the implementation of the upgrade system has been done well, there's not enough in the overall package to justify purchasing the game. This is one to avoid.

Magnificently reproduced in a way to feel terrible even for a port of a 1982 arcade title.

It’s squarely aimed at children yet a frustrating change in difficulty for each game will see you trying or just turning the game off after loosing a few lives.

Overall, Ice Age 4: Continental Drift – Arctic Games is a major disappointment. The unresponsive controls, the weak storyline and the poorly executed ideas are just a few of the reasons why this game isn't enjoyable, not even for kids. This is a title to avoid at all costs.

In closing it is hard to recommend Naughty Bear, as it's a missed opportunity spoiled by repetitive gameplay and rough controls, forgetting the painstaking bugs and the narrator that will make you want to mute the television permanently.

Disappointing.

All in all, Bloodforge feels like a love letter to the God of War series written with an oversized Sharpie marker. Clunky and unpolished controls mixed with a nearly broken camera make a somewhat enjoyable hack and slash adventure frustrating and monotonous, and with its 1200 MSP price tag, it's hard to justify a purchase.

She likened the game to the various dance routine videos she owns, which I feel is a fitting comparison for Zumba Fitness for Kinect; a non-interactive set of dance routines where you try to replicate the on screen trainer, with little to no feedback or interaction. Then again, if you wanted a non-interactive dance routine video, you could buy something like Carmen Electra Strip Aerobics and follow that instead of Zumba Fitness's rainbow rhythms disco sensation.

If you've never seen the TV series there is no reason to purchase this game and if you have, there's still no reason to purchase it.

Suffering from lack of players and lobby issues, particularly galling given the heightened multiplayer aspect of the game, it’s very difficult to recommend a purchase, especially at the high price of 1200 MSP (plus an extra 1120 MSP for the additional map packs).

Too basic in gameplay, and sluggish in execution.

If you've never seen the TV series there is no reason to purchase this game and if you have, there's still no reason to purchase it.

The Cursed Crusade has the founding for a really fun game but falls short in almost every aspect. Even playing co-op mode, the game doesn't really change much from the solo experience and with so many problems outside the gameplay, it's not very enjoyable. Sadly, I say this is one to miss especially as there are plenty of titles out there to keep you busy until the end of the year.

At 800 points it’s difficult to recommend Coffeetime Crosswords to anyone but the super bored Crossword obsessive, who desperately needs those extra gamer points and achievements.

The story is very lacklustre and plays out very poorly, like the movie. The gameplay is great if you're judging it against a game from the previous generation. The lack of multiplayer is an unforeseen positive and it's generally a game I never want to play again. My top tip, avoid and stick to the old school Battleships game. It's far superior.

A graphical nightmare.

When it is working, Steel Battalion Heavy Armor is an exciting, engaging and immersive game – but to get to the end of the campaign you're going to need to love mechs and Kinect. A lot. The problem is the Kinect experience is a significant detractor to the point of annoyance. If you could just use the control pad it would have been a far better game, even more so if an adapter could have been provided to use the impressive controller from the first game.

Overall, Pure Football is a weak attempt at obtaining the football crown. Whilst it offers a unique experience and some promising ideas and concepts, the over-use of meters, the lack of game modes and the poor implementation of features means the title is one to avoid, even at the reduced prices retailers are offering the game for.

There is even less excuse due to the fact that there have been worthy purchases within the Harry Potter game series, yet even if you are a fan of the once boy wizard and his fellow wand wavers, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 is definitely and unequivocally one to miss out on if you wish to be left with any sanity at all!

All I can say is, don't spend your money on this game because you will be very disappointed and with so many good releases coming out this month, it's not like you will need much persuasion to go and purchase something else!

It is playable, but only just for a few minutes.

There are far better games available for Move currently, pick up the Move edition of Heavy Rain for the same price and embrace the goodness. Hell, spend £4 on Flight Control HD and the rest on beer whilst you smash jumbo-jets in to each other – just don't buy this or we'll have to send the lads around and have a word. I grade this title an A-F: Abject Failure.

Blue Omega Entertainment set out with a clear goal, to change the First Person Genre with a mix of FPS and Acrobatics; unfortunately Damnation falls short on both counts and leaves gamers wanting their money back.
