With a fun, self deprecating sense of dark humor, a neat combat mechanic and some truly enjoyable one liners and storytelling, Tom vs. The Armies of Hell is an enjoyable arcade title for those who are looking for the simple pleasures of death and swearing.

Bard’s Gold, while simple in theory, plays with a bit more difficulty, and though you may want to turn your TV down to avoid the uninspiring soundtrack, it is well worth its price of $4.99.

KSP is an amazing space flight simulator, with some issues that keep it from being an amazing game as well.

With so much potential in the premise, it’s a shame MilitAnt didn’t deliver where it counts in the gameplay department. Annoying A.I. and frustrating combat mechanics make for a tough recommendation even for the biggest fans of action platformers.

Battling against friends both online and through couch co-op is how Dangerous Golf feels like it’s meant to be played and it makes for a great pickup title, ignoring the initial learning curve that is.

    Dex
Dex: Enhanced Edition isn’t perfect. It’s a love letter to not only classic sci-fi but also classic 90’s RPG/adventure games. Where Dex falls short is the sum of its parts; so many gameplay elements have been incorporated in, but not one of them stand out as excellent.

It severely lacks in the fun department with its repetitive gameplay and bland characters. Expecting gamers to drop $50.00 dollars on this game is insulting. Yet, even if it were cheaper it would not make it any better.

Overall, Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Descent DLC is merely more of the same. Granted, the “same” looks and plays great, and gives Black Ops 3 fans a reason to keep playing. Yet Descent doesn’t stray from the COD DLC formula, at all.

Despite being a 6-year-old PSP game, God Eater Resurrection looks quite good on the PlayStation 4. While the game does show the odd low-detailed textures here and there, the character designs themselves are well done with smooth animation sequences.

The largest drawback to Monochroma was the repetition and simplicity of the game which makes it very boring to play. - See more at: http://cogconnected.com/review/monochroma-review/#sthash.ZHxCjDCL.dpuf

In general, Adventures of Mana was a simple, charming remake of the game that kicked off the Mana series. Despite lacking in some areas, it’s still a fun game to play, especially in spurts.

What 7 Days to Die does right is provide a hearty selection of crafting and allows you to team up with friends locally or online to enjoy some co-op action. But is it worth picking up? For the simple fact that there’s better examples of world-building engines out there with a large fan base and even larger servers, I say pass.
