Using logic and brainpower to deduce the facts is great fun, and the game is surprisingly entertaining.

After Burner Climax is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting new entries into the downloadable space. SEGA managed to preserve most of the intensity and all of the fun of the original game, and this latest iteration packs in a few extras that complete the package in a meaningful way.

Monster Hunter Tri is a game that really sucks you in. With a single-player mode that can last 30 hours or more and a multiplayer mode that has an endless amount of new areas to explore and quests to complete, if you pick this title up, you may not be able to put it down!

Creating a worthwhile karate or martial arts sim on the Wii would have been a great idea, but unfortunately, all you can expect from All Star Karate is a bunch of waggling of your hands and shaking of your head.

We can't say it will bowl over modern gamers who've seen better entries in the genre, but it represents an important moment in video game history, and for that reason it's worth a download, at least of the demo.

While it's enjoyable to solve puzzles and uncover a story in a genre that doesn't receive a lot of mileage these days, it's a little unfortunate that the themes and humor borrow from this ancient Looney Tunes-meets-90s-attitude rather than create a new world and identity all its own.

It faithfully recreates the arcade classic, gives players the option of updating the sound, aspect ratio, and visuals, and includes a great second game that most modern gamers aren't familiar with.

The single-player story is short, but it's filled with a lot of great moments. The co-op multiplayer helps to give the package a lot more bite.

The sheer amount of content in The Lost and Damned is truly impressive considering its modest twenty dollar asking price.

The amusing dialogue, fun gameplay, and delightfully absurd missions make this a must-buy for everyone, whether by download (in which case it requires a copy of GTA IV to run) or on disc with The Lost and Damned.

The tone of the story is, after all, quite a departure from the franchise's previous two outings. However, the amusing dialogue, fun gameplay, and delightfully absurd missions make this a must-buy for everyone, whether by download (in which case it requires a copy of GTA IV to run) or on disc with The Lost and Damned.

The single-player maps are competent and challenging, though lifeless and bland. Online multiplayer offers little promise, though local play pieces things together to give Nectaris at least moderate value for your 1000 Wii Points.

Honestly, Kasumi's Loyalty Mission isn't that great. Also, you're only getting about an hour and a half (max) of additional content. At least the extra goodies and crew member are solid.

Part of the magic of Heavy Rain and even The Taxidermist is the experiences are always different for each player the first time through. I can say I anxiously await Chapter Two, I just hope it is a little longer and maybe next time with Norman Jayden and Madison Page.

The worst part about So Long My Love is that awful feeling when you realize that there are at least four other Sakura Wars games that have never come to America. I desperately need to return to the warm and happy world of Sakura, but the best I can hope for is a second (or third) playthrough that takes advantage of Sakura's branching storyline.

WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase doesn't improve the series as far as gameplay or visuals. It's all the same wacky stuff, packed with 2-5 second games that get faster and faster till you lose. Still, between the 70+ new micro-games and the downloadable ones, plus the ability to transfer the DS creations to the big screen, there's a good value in this title, which makes it better than the mere "showcase" the name implies.

WarioWare D.I.Y. doesn't improve the series as far as gameplay, visuals, or multiplayer (which this game doesn't offer). Still, the ability to create micro-games of your own and share them with other players greatly expands the replay value of this title.
