It's a great ten-hour campaign, but there's little replay value.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy succeeds primarily because it sticks to the original Ace Combat format without trying to dress the series up as something it's not.

The game is full of fun elements, sports an in-depth multiplayer component, and is loaded with fan-service. While I think this is a solid title for anyone interested action gaming and solid storytelling, it is certainly not a must-buy. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

The sounds of the game are something to be proud of, indeed. Not only are the tunes cool and action-packed but the sound effects are also really nice and suitable for this arcade gem. The voice over is funny and reminds you of the good old times at the arcade.

This is simply a blast to play, and there's a lot of replay value. The only problem is that the campaign is short, maybe five to seven hours.

BA is best played online, but the single player mode can be fun for awhile; it may not capture everyones attention span for the entire 20 missions.

The classic feel of the game does make grinding a little boring, and the story feels contrived at times, but this is a great title for those who crave a more classic approach to their RPG gaming.

A game this derivative can never be great, but it's really, really good.

The relationship between the two main characters is remarkably real - so much so that the ending of the game comes off as bittersweet. Thankfully, the moment it ends you can return to the game, and the adventures of the boy and the blob can continue for as long as you'd like them to.

It's better than its predecessor in pretty much all areas except flexibility. But this is okay. The lack of flexibility actually gives the game more of an identity.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary is the perfect way to revisit Lara Croft. Instead of a remake, we've been given a remade version of her original adventure, bringing with it all the improvements that have been made to her character over the years, yet retaining the qualities that made us fall in love with her games in the first place.

Although the new format may turn off those who appreciated the old school feel of the original Blue Dragon, there is still a lot to like here, even if the story feels a little tacked-on.

Although Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes 2: The Phantom Fortress is a really fun title to play, those who played the first Ultimate Ninja Heroes might feel the gameplay is starting to get a little stale, as this title doesn't really expand upon the gameplay in the same way as its console cousins have, and veteran players will probably be a little let down by how similar this title feels to its predecessor.

Career mode is a bit on the short side, and there isn't much in the way of new challenges or modes. Still, there is a lot to do, and the new control keeps things from getting stale.

With some patches and some polishing, Team Sonic Racing could be satisfactory. It has some interesting ideas. Getting to race with other people and help one another, in the name of everyone in your group doing better, has some merit. The campaign also is goofy in a good sort of way. There just needs to be some balancing, so people have a reason to pick people who aren’t Speed types, and the online races need to be fixed so people aren’t being booted or find themselves victimized by unbearable glitches.

Pneuma: Breath of Life provides an interesting male lead, a gorgeous backdrop, and unique puzzles solved through the powers of perception. However, it fails to provide a nuanced story, and the one it delivers finishes much too soon.
