Freedom Fighters is one of the most engrossing action games on the market today and if you think the concept is cool, wait until you are in the thick of battle. The length may be an issue, but as I've been told, it's not the length it's how you use it.

Looks great and runs smoothly. It's superior to the PS2 version in terms of cleaner graphics.

This game is well done and even though I have played it for two days straight, there is still more to see and do.

It's not so much the gameplay that lures you in as it is the story.

The focus is on atmosphere and brain-teasers, both of which the game pulls off with absolute aplomb and unbelievably slick production, to the point where one can almost smell the grime and mold on the dungeon's walls.

NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits is old-school at heart, but completely innovative and fresh when it comes to gameplay. It's an excellent adventure that defines the gold standard for WiiWare.

The gameplay is the truest reason to download this game. Even though the hour-long aspect of the game could hinder replayability, you will from time to time wish to save the fair princess from the dastardly Grand Vizier.

The entire adventure lasts anywhere from 18 - 25 hours + depending on your abilities and in todays market that's a decent bang for your gaming dollar.

A solid set of new missions. The real benefits come with being able to fix the ending and explore more of the world afterwards.

It might not have Gears of War's deep budget or high level of polish, but it more than makes up for it by giving you a bunch of locations and missions you haven't yet experienced and won't soon forget.

The only major problem I have with this game is that it has all been done before. If you’ve played several WWII shooters, you won’t find anything really new here. If you are a fan of the genre, you should definitely play this game.

The fresher elements improve on the firmly established vibe and gameplay, making this a solid follow up episode.

The game excels at preserving the core arcade mode from the console version, but the lack of online mode gives the portable version less replay value. Still, with robust customization and a different story format, there is plenty of content in the PSP version.

If anyone tells you they don't like the game, then they probably don't like chocolate, the Superbowl or comedies either. There is so much fun packed into the title that all but the most "alternative" of core gamers are bound to love it.

College Hoops 2K8 is a great college basketball game, both for dedicated fans of the game and for casual b-ball lovers. The new additions to the game, even the flawed ones, are a step in the right direction, bringing the game closer and closer to the definitive college basketball experience.

Because it is practically the only game in the genre, EA Sports UFC 4 is the uncontested champion. The fact that it singlehandedly fills a nice isn’t the only reason to play it, though. Once you grasp the basics, EA Sports UFC 4 is a deep game that lets you engage with it on your own terms. You can get by on easy mode, or you can rely on skills and abilities to compensate. You can simulate training if you just want to fight. If you want to develop a mastery over the game, the training menus offer a wealth of information and practice mode is very accommodating. If you want to learn about optimal builds and “hit boxes,” there are already a variety of communities online who excitedly welcome the opportunity to geek out about the game’s technical side. That’s where I’ll be going to improve my ground game. A week ago, I couldn’t imagine saying such a thing.

This game suffers from being a little too shallow, and after playing the same tracks over and over, it's a little too easy to tire of the game after the main story mode has been completed. Still, I would hope that there will be a sequel to this title, as the premise is solid. The execution just needs a little fleshing out.

This game is imminently replayable and pushes the boundaries of what is still possible in the 2D realm. This game could have easily been a disaster, counting on art style and bra size to sell copies. But Vanillaware pretty much nailed it in all categories.

With such faithful recreations of classic SEGA Genesis games, and a few not-so-classic ones, I can finally take my Genesis out of the closet and get some use out of it as a doorstop.

The bottom line is that Paradox Interactive knows its audience, and the developer hand-crafted Crusader Kings II to fit the needs of its dedicated fan base. This is not an accessible game, and it does not pretend to be. If you want an update to the original Crusader Kings, or if you want to play Sengoku in the context of a different culture, Crusader Kings II is a must-buy. If not, stay away.

I could not image a more perfect racer for a beginner or young child. This game is absolutely the bomb. It's easy to learn, easy to play and very easy on the eyes.

Due to the rich history of the series, you can't help but feel like you're taking part in a fantastic epic that hasn't even begun to scratch the surface in terms of totality. That's why I love this series and that's why I love DDS2. Chances are, you will too.

Ice Station Santa is definitely one of the longer episodes of the batch, and it may easily become a fast favorite. Still, even with the hints turned completely off it will only take you a handful of hours to plow through this gem.

All in all, this is a welcome return to an adventure that changed the face of gaming a decade ago.

The second screen really adds a great new dynamic to the gameplay, and the classic feel of the game is as sharp as ever. I really can't recommend this title enough; it is very fun to play, and the online modes provide endless replay value.

No two games play alike thanks to the incredible AI who act like real human enemies. They also die like real humans, meaning that they aren't given an unfair advantage. This is war.
