Just a hodgepodge of a game that is marred by its overly ambitious efforts to be something unique.

Inexplicably the aspects of "The Sands Of Time" that most players complained about, namely the endless battling of foes has returned in spades and it's not only repetitive beyond all reason, it's also a lot less forgiving this time around.

You can't fault a developer for trying something new with an old product but it does kind of feel as though Sonic is being thrown against many walls to see where he'll stick. Sonic Battle is not much more than a novelty.

The focus of their next Spider-Man game should be making the combat feel as authentic to Spider-Man as they've done with the web-slinging. With a focus on improving the combat, the A.I., and more epic cineractives, Spider-Man 3 would have been a great game.

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash will do ya if you're big on using buttons instead of swinging Wii Remotes or if you absolutely must perform fancy shots. Just know that this is a full-priced game that says, “Here, play some tennis,” and not much else.

A decent enough expansion pack but I can't help but feel that it's taking advantage of its fans. At $30 U.S., the game only offers the bare minimum of new gameplay features.

Though the game isn't that great whilst playing alone, it isn't too bad either. Moreover, the single-cart multiplayer adds a lot to the overall package.

The concept is solid, the music is admittedly catchy (for the most part), and the style is there; we'd just like to see more of it coupled with better gameplay implementation.

It's certainly worth a spin around the block but I wouldn't be so quick to take a two-week road trip with it.

Same old tired gameplay with a new name a big-ticket price tag...I haven't seen so much rehash since I caught Pauley Shore's act at the Comedy Store in L.A. a few years ago.

Once the novelty of the new graphics wears off, we're stuck with a 20-year old arcade game that I'm not so sure I would label a classic in the first place.

I found myself struggling to “get” it, worried I was some degree of incompetent or something. But the more I thought about it, the more I feel like The Crew 2 doesn’t get itself, either. It wants so desperately to be an open world experience that can seamlessly become race-like events in a games as service-like multiplayer setting. But we just aren’t there yet, so the races exist in pocket universes where you and some friends can battle the computer or you can go it alone. Either way, you’re just grinding for the sake of it.

A game that leaves you wanting more, for better or worse. You want more loot, or at least confirmation that when you go through the same tedious level again, you'll find exactly the item you need waiting at the end. You want more of a balanced challenge, with a single player that feels like it could be handled alone or a multiplayer that performs perfectly under any condition and is worth replaying. Most importantly, you want a real reason to keep returning to the game and not just a prospect of a pretty new look for the Link-alike.

The game may not have much in the way of replay value, but for bang for your buck, I think it packs enough punch the first time through.

A fun game that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Therefore, players shouldn’t take in-game action too seriously either, and if true-to-life football, play-calling, and tactics is your thing, Blitz is definitely not for you. At the most, this is an arcade intended for a good time, though the fun can tend to be short-lived.

Unfortunately for fans, the whole experience can be summed up in one sentence: Too bland, too easy but looks good.

With gigantic fighting robots and fast-paced, streamlined, arcade action, Virtual-On Marz makes the perfect game for beginners and vets alike looking for some straight-ahead mindless fun.

Viewtiful Joe may have bitten off more than he can chew on his PSP debut. Even if you have the metabolism of a hummingbird, you're going to have a difficult time relating to the incredibly fast and confusing pace of this game.

Unlocking all of the tracks, cars and other goodies will add some replay value but you will definitely want to put a few weeks between yourself and the game before you go at it again just so that everything doesn't seem so familiar.

A good game for those that like to be in on the ground floor. It's unique in that you can build your own playable shooter, so to speak, but the gameplay is just average. Still, the combination of creation and shooter may be irresistible to some.

It's not bad, but it's not as innovative as I had originally hoped. Yes it is a DBZ game that takes a drastically different approach. But it uses the same old story that we've been hearing for the past ten years.

With tighter, arcade-style combat, a more interesting environment, and less time-wasting tedium in the exploration sections, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate could have been an entertaining Metroidvania game. As it is, it's a wholly middling experience.

When I first began playing World Gone Sour, I was disappointed with the technical flaws of the game. But as I progressed, it started to stick to me like the wet gummy I was controlling. Perhaps it's the hilarious product branding, or the ability to send Sour Patch Kids to their doom, or maybe it's the fact that this simple adventure is only five bucks.

Despite the large number of levels, the similarity of each experience breeds monotony, and there simply isn't enough to the core gameplay to justify either the amount of content or the price tag attached to it. It overstays its welcome.

While TU might be weak in all other areas, it delivers exactly what the targeted niche market is expecting: A huge cast of oddballs going crazy during unbelievable cutscenes.

With no multi-player modes and no incentives to replay the single-person mode there's no real reason to purchase this game. If this game had been released in the 90s, it would have been highly recommended but we expect a lot more these days regardless of the price.

Oddly addicting. It's as hard to put down as it is hard to pick up and play once you become frustrated over the design imperfections. How you will fare depends on your temperment in this reality.

For a game that was inspired by a movie that was inspired by a theme park ride that was originally inspired by a book, The Legend of Jack Sparrow is less than inspired.
