I'm honestly astounded as to how any game can be so good and so bad at the same time.

Easily the easiest game of the series, Tenchu: Return From Darkness may look better and have a few new features but it's a somewhat dumbed-down version of last year's "Wrath of Heaven" (PS2).

The level of intensity is entirely up to you. You can play it like an action game or like a methodical chess match. Online and ad hoc modes will definitely extend the replay value since you don't have to worry about the unfair A.I. advantages.

Enjoyable but dated... Considering that these are nothing more than the Dreamcast versions released a year ago for the low price of $19.99, charging an extra $20 is nothing more than highway robbery.

Kholat is genuinely scary, sometimes to its detriment. You will have to push yourself to continue playing at times.

With all the complaints a new player to the franchise could find, this game feels more like a dedication piece to all the fans of both series.

Offers more of the same gameplay as the first SpyHunter but does nothing to top it.

Xtreme 2 may be tacky but it can be fun the first time through if you play it with the right attitude. You’ll even get some replay value with the multi-player modes but if you just want to ogle women you’ll save yourself a lot of money buying the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition.

Alien Syndrome's best qualities are spread thin over two platforms, yielding two average offerings.

There's a lot of gameplay here, but unfortunately, a lot of it is a repeat of the same few activities. There needed to be a lot more variety to keep the player interested over long periods of time.

To get the most benefit from this game this should be your first Spyro game. To many diehard fans, it may be their last.

The gameplay would be woefully inadequate to compete against any game released in the last four years were it not for the interactivity of the Eye Toy. In other words, if you just used a regular controller for this game it would suck.

This game isn't particularly fun compared to Hard-Hat Domo, Pro-Putt Domo, or even Crash-Course Domo, but if you must have the collection, it's also not that bad.

So many of the features and options seem like tired old clichés that the developer's obviously believed just have to be included in such a racing game. This whole street culture thing is also on the lame side.

Once the novelty of the new graphics wears off, we're stuck with a 20-year old arcade game that I'm not so sure I would label a classic in the first place.

Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars delivers a unique concept that stands out among the increasingly populated downloadable pack. It's too bad this charm wears off quickly, resulting in a game that feels more like a novelty than a crafty idea brought to realization.

It's fun as a distraction for a while, and there's a lot of content, but $15 is too much to pay for a simple minigame collection.

There’s a decent game in here somewhere, but Mass Effect: Andromeda feels like a collaboration from Mass Effect fans rather than a group of known and established developers. It’s like that cool thing everyone loves, a decade-plus removed from its creators and pushed down an assembly line. Mass Effect: Andromeda didn’t need to reinvent the wheel, but the wheel needed to have that special sheen that’s evidence of five years of polish and care. Instead it feels well meaning, but sloppy.

The problem is justifying an NBA Live 14 purchase when NBA 2K14 is on store shelves. As a newbie, I had fun with NBA 2k14, but I didn’t have nearly as much fun with NBA Live 14.

Truly, Virtua Tennis 2009 is little more than a lazily rehashed and less than polished iteration of what was offered in Virtua Tennis 3.

If you've played another Lips game, then you know exactly what you are getting here: a regular singing mode, the freestyle mode, and the MyLips social tool. There's nothing new in this title, which is disheartening considering this is the third iteration of the franchise.
