Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is an interesting take on the Monster Hunter series. Honing in on the RPG mechanics, it changes the series in a way that makes it way more approachable than the main series.- CGMagazine

The game is great for what it is and a welcome addition to the PS4 library, but fans really deserve a true sequel at this point.- CGMagazine

Despite bringing all the content for its plethora of releases, Payday 2 simply needed a touch more polish to truly feel at home on the Switch. If OVERKILL continuously supports this version of Payday 2 like it supports its PC counterpart, I see a vivid future where rare random framerate issues, unresponsive AI, and blurry textures can truly be a long forgotten memory.- CGMagazine

Voidwrought is fast, fun, and fluid. Despite some late-game balancing issues, it still makes for an entertaining Metroidvania experience. The soundtrack alone is worth the price of admission.- CGMagazine

Langrisser Re:Incarnation –Tensei- clearly wants to ape Fire Emblem’s newfound success, and while it sometimes falls flat on its face, it’s still a deep, engaging strategy game with enough there for genre fans to dig into.- CGMagazine

Drag x Drive is a novel take on wheelchair basketball, one that takes full advantage of the Joy-Con 2 controllers. While limited by an overall lack of content, the game still creates a good foundation for the future.- CGMagazine

Mercenaries Saga Chronicles is about as straightforward as a strategy RPG can be, its greatest asset being an impressive volume of content that eclipses its meager asking price.- CGMagazine

Capcom seems to have honed in on the fact that Resident Evil is, despite its previous posturing of drama, silly. It’s embraced its B-movie nature and ends up being a lot more entertaining because of it.- CGMagazine

If you missed The Escapists, then I would highly recommend getting it on the Nintendo Switch. It’s an enjoyable game with a very interesting premise. For added prison break fun, The Escapists 2 is also available and would be great given the versatile nature of the Switch and multiplayer.- CGMagazine

The overwhelming feeling I had in my time with Expeditions: Rome is that it’s perfectly average. If you have a strong draw to Roman history, there’s a lot to love, as the game goes full-force into its setting. The systems all work together competently, but never do anything to stand out from the pack of other CRPGs out there. Even so, I kept finding myself wanting to play more, wanting to conquer that extra little bit of land. If you’re hankering for a new CRPG with a lot of systems to learn, you can certainly do worse than Expeditions: Rome.- CGMagazine
