A great revival of an old, crazy game and a very pleasant, fast FPS providing many hours of enthusiastic mouse torture. [12/2013, p.58]

Beyond fails to convince the player that what happens on screen really depends on them and therefore make them contemplate what would they have done in Jodie’s place. What saves the story is great acting. [12/2013, p.54]

I did not enjoy the new PES. Players are unresponsive, their AI is weak, refereeing is sometimes questionable and the automatic passing system often annoying. Match commentary is simply awful. There is almost nothing new in the modes department and as usual team licenses are a problem. But there is a good new engine at last (along with new physics system) and I see some hope for the series in the future. [12/2013, p.50]

The best simulation of football, but only slightly better than its predecessor. If you’re planning to buy a new console I recommend waiting for the next-gen Fifa 14. [12/2013, p.48]

This game has a very simple structure – we travel from one cutscene to another slaying groups of monsters wandering around. But the strength of Aarklash Legacy lies in its deep system of tactical combat. [12/2013, p.46]

The best way to bid farewell to the retiring consoles is to spend dozens of hours having fun in Los Santos: robbing, abusing illegal substances, breaking all laws and enjoying everything else that GTA V has to offer. And after we finish the game, we should all say loudly: ‘okay, Rockstar girls and boys, it’s high time to make a truly new GTA, not just a gigantic DLC’. [12/2013, p.36]

Omega Force keeps releasing the same game over and over again and some like it this way. But if you’re not a fan of the One Piece anime, I suggest picking up Dynasty Warriors 8 instead. [11/2013, p.86]

A messed up PC port of an interesting console title. The game is horribly unresponsive when you use mouse and keyboard, the connection lags are awful and it’s hard to find people to play with. [11/2013, p.86]

Puppeteer’s biggest strength are its visuals, but on the other hand the game is so gloomy and disturbing that I couldn’t wait to go back to a much more pleasant (also in terms of gameplay) Rayman. [11/2013, p.85]

This game makes you forget you’re playing on a handheld – it’s a full-blown title with excellent graphics. Too bad enemies are sometimes incredibly stupid and checkpoints often frustratingly far from one another. [11/2013, p.85]

A fighting game that should appeal to everyone regardless of their experience with the genre. Friendly to newcomers (but it does not reward button mashing) and deep enough for the seasoned enthusiasts. [11/2013, p.82]

Outlast grosses you out (like Condemned: Criminal Origins) rather than making you fear your own shadow (like the first Amnesia did), but nonetheless it’s a great horror. [11/2013, p.81]

The beginning of the game is great and the story gets darker by the minute, but the immersion, mood and tension fall to pieces when you face grotesque, poorly animated enemies. [11/2013, p.80]

Diablo III is a better game on consoles. Gamepad controls lack precision a bit, but on the other hand this version does a better job at conveying the most important thing in the series – the euphoria associated with looting. [CD-Action 11/2013, p.68]

My experience with Arma III contained equal doses of pleasant surprise, delight, feeling of emptiness after finishing single player missions, and longing for more. If you’re mainly interested in the single player campaign, I advise you to wait at least for the first DLC before buying this game. [CD-Action 11/2013, p.58]

It’s not as revolutionary as the first Rome, but it’s an extremely elaborate game that will keep you occupied for days, weeks, months. I’ll even risk stating that it’s the best strategy game out there right now. [CD-Action 11/2013, p.52]
