The game is simple and gets boring fast, but I return to it often for a couple of minutes of fun. [10/2015, p.75]

Intrusive microtransactions make Angry Birds 2 a game for either rich or patient. Without paying it’s almost impossible to play for an hour straight. [10/2015, p.74]

FNaF4 differs from the previous games and that’s good. I had a bit more fun with it but it’s still based on jump scares and that’s the least refined technique of scaring. [10/2015, p.73]

AI posed a challenge in the first couple of battles only (until I memorized the maps) and I was unable to prove myself in multiplayer because there was no one to play against. [10/2015, p.72]

Zach Barth (the author of Infinifactory) is back and again creativity – both the developer’s and yours – plays first fiddle. [10/2015, p.71]

The biggest flaw of this very enjoyable platformer is that it’s too short. [10/2015, p.71]

After ten years Legend of Kay returns with higher resolution, new character models, sharper textures and all the flaws that caused us to forget Kay while we still remember Jak & Daxter, Sly and Ratchet & Clank. [10/2015, p.69]

Good exploration game should have a fascinating world and an above average storytelling – or at least one of these elements. Submerged has the direction right but doesn’t push far enough with it. [10/2015, p.67]

First encounter with Enki is quite thrilling, but the game ends after half an hour. You can start over with some elements (like item placement) randomly generated, but this randomness is just not random enough. [10/2015, p.67]

I honestly don’t know who was the intended target group for Sorcerer King. There’s almost nothing fresh in this game to attract those who avoided 4X strategies and the genre’s veterans will snarl with disgust and return to much more complex Age of Wonders III. [10/2015, p.66]

    Kyn
If I hadn’t known that Kyn was developed mostly by two people, I wouldn’t have suspected it. It’s hard not to appreciate the surprisingly high quality of their work but on the other hand the project overwhelmed them in some respects. [10/2015, p.64]

Should I dash forward or jump backwards risking getting hit? How do I deplete his defense meter so he doesn’t work out my attack patterns? How do I hit him during a super attack to maximize the damage? You will ask yourself such questions a lot while playing Yatagarasu – and that’s what makes fighting game great. [10/2015, p.63]

A nameless ronin sets his foot in a seaside town of Amihama, where he immediately gets entangled in the conflict between nationalistic rebels and pro-British shogunate. What happens next? Whatever you want to happen, because WotS4 gives you such freedom of choice that every adventure lasting two hours can be different. [10/2015, p.56]

Usually I’m not into artsy little indie games, but I was ready to fall in love with Feist. Unfortunately it didn’t want to love me back. Its difficulty level turned tension that I welcomed in the beginning of the adventure into frustration that prevented me from enjoying this beautiful, atmospheric game as much as I hoped to.
