Candle’s got a lot going for it – beautiful visuals, varied puzzles and a decent level of difficulty. On the other hand controls can be annoying and distinct artistic style resembling living paintings sometimes makes it hard to distinguish elements on screen. [01/2017, p.61]- CD-Action

Pinball and VR fit together really nicely and it’s a lot of fun to see each table’s setting come to life around you while you play. [02/2017, p.39]- CD-Action

You will love EA Sports FC 25 and hate it at the same time – just like every previous installment. Nevertheless, the FC IQ system makes me feel, for the first time in a while in this series, the big potential for customizing tactics and individual player roles.- CD-Action

It’s a reasonably priced, varied set of tables, but it’s hard not to notice that their quality is uneven and some of them are dated. [02/2017, p.41]- CD-Action

I strongly urge you to give Scrolls a chance, especially that there’s a free demo available and the full game costs next to nothing. [02/2015, p.54]- CD-Action

A charming, addictive game that’s easy to learn but hard to master and therefore appeals both to those who seek some simple fun and those who play games to set records and climb the leaderboards. [08/2015, p.58]- CD-Action

Motorsport Manager could definitely use FIA’s license and some polishing here and there but it achieves the goal of every management game – it lets you write your own success story. [01/2017, p.66]- CD-Action

It’s a festival of good and interesting ideas that were drowned in boring grind, features borrowed from Forza Horizon, and reggaeton. [01/2020, p.60]- CD-Action

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game is a unique, beautiful and realistic simulation of driving through a wilderness untouched by civilization. It poses an even greater challenge than the studio’s previous games and while it will make you sweat, possibly bring you to tears, the reward will be an incredible sense of satisfaction.- CD-Action

Revamped career mode is extremely enjoyable this time and the game as a whole is a step forward for the franchise. UFC 3 looks amazing, as you can clearly see the effects of trading blows – injuries, blood staining the shorts, sweat trickling down the skin. What needs to be dealt with in the next installment is the ground game, which trails way behind entertaining, dynamic stand-up fighting. [04/2018, p.70]- CD-Action

Forbidden West is enjoyable, although it fails to impress with anything innovative. In terms of gameplay it’s simply a slightly improved Horizon Zero Dawn. As for the PC port, there’s pretty much nothing to criticize – on a sufficiently powerful setup the game looks truly beautiful, rarely drops frames and doesn’t cause any major technical problems.- CD-Action

The first episode is really good (in some aspects even better than the original Life Is Strange!) and despite being rather short (ca. 3 hours) full of positive surprises. [11/2017, p.62]- CD-Action

A New Frontier is well written and directed, surprising and touching. Along with Tales from the Borderlands The Walking Dead is still the best series by Telltale. [02/2017, p.44]- CD-Action

This successful, extremely stylish soulslike card game tells a magical story about mourning. It offers a fantastic system for creating cards from ingredients, engaging battles and exploration, and skillfully encourages the player to test different decks.- CD-Action

The Ninja Gaiden trilogy differs from all the other slashers and even today stands out from most of the representatives of the genre. Instead of pleasing the mainstream tastes, the Japanese have created games that require you to master available techniques and are brutally difficult even if you do. Most players will find them much to hard to complete, but that’s why we love these team Ninja’s masterpieces, right? [09/2021, p.36]- CD-Action

A great hybrid of a puzzle game and a shooter that comes with wonderful visuals and a couch co-op, but gets repetitive by the end and sometimes annoyed me with uneven difficulty level. [11/2017, p.66]- CD-Action

It’s a game practically devoid of mechanics, with much of its weight revolving around storytelling. The Travel Stories build a bridge between a game and a book; between the literature of truth and fiction. [01/2020, p.69]- CD-Action

Final Fantasy XVI is a technical masterpiece with some jaw-dropping scenes, but the game’s genre (it’s a hack’n’slash, not an RPG!) fails to fully support 40 hours of gameplay. I’m happy that I had the opportunity to play it, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that the developers put more meticulousness and money than heart into it, forgetting a pinch of madness that would have made this undeniably impressive game truly stellar.- CD-Action

With its varied, satisfying fighting styles, tons of equipment, wealth of animals and monsters, online functionality, and attractive visuals Monster Hunter: World is a skillfully concocted drug that keeps you coming back for more despite its lackluster story and some excessively drawn-out encounters. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is a return to the classic series with great atmosphere, exploration, and artistic vision. However, the desert world reveals the limitations of the level design, causing the game to lose its rhythm at times.- CD-Action

As Dusk Falls is an engrossing interactive crime drama with memorable characters. The art style and voice acting are great and the well-written, complex story branches out depending on your choices (which are meaningful, not illusory!), making the game worthy of replaying. I recommend giving As Dusk Falls a try instead of binge-watching a show on a streaming platform, but I suggest you launch the game early in the evening, because once you start it, it’s really hard to turn off the console until the end credits roll after 6-7 hours.- CD-Action

There are a lot of seemingly dissonant notes in The Song of Life, but from this chaos arises one of the best written open world games of this generation, a great technological foundation for upcoming Yakuzas and a beautiful farewell to Kazuma Kiryu. [05/2018, p.38]- CD-Action
