A cute little game that fails to offer much more than a cool visual style. [CD-Action 04/2013, p.81]

It’s curious that XSEED waited so long to publish Ys I & II Chronicles, as both games are visibly more primitive than their successors from 2012. Instead of dessert we were served a stale biscuit. [CD-Action 05/2013, p.70]

As a fan of Ninja Theory’s take on Devil May Cry, I had some fun with this DLC, mainly thanks to surreal Limbo setting. But Vergil’s Downfall is short (took me about 1,5 hour on medium difficulty), cut-scenes look more like storyboards than something that was supposed to appear in the final product, there are bugs and Vergil is no Dante. It tries to balance between tried and true mechanics of World of Warcraft and the ideas that made the first Ragnarok popular. The outcome is mediocre – boring combat, gameplay based on uninspired quests (‘kill 20 of those’) and small, almost linear world. [CD-Action 07/2013, p.65]

Bland visuals, poor audio and no multiplayer mode in a game that screams for one. Still it can provide a couple of enjoyable hours to those who cherish their memories of the original Talisman board game. [01/2014, p.49]

The title sums the game up pretty accurately. It seems the developers didn’t know why they are making this game and how to make it. [01/2014, p.68]

I couldn’t get over the imprecise gadget controls and quasi-physics that goes wild once in a while. Plus the game is as boring as ‘The Limits of Control’ by Jarmush. [02/2014, p.63]

The expansion introducing 12-a-side PvP battles in space lets you modify your starfighter heavily and offers a solid arcade gameplay that works great as a part of a bigger game. [02/2014, p.65]

There’s nothing left from Mattel’s vision of Barbie as a girl who can do anything and pursue any career she wants. In Dreamhouse Party she’s is just a cute, dumb girl on high heels who wastes her time with her equally dumb friends. It’s sad. [02/2014, p.68]

I could spend a lot of time pointing out this game’s flaws but I don’t have the heart to do it. It’s an enjoyable hack’n’slash and the fans of Finn and Jake finally received an adaptation that’s not extremely hopeless. [06/2014, p.68]

The developers had valuable ideas neither for the combat system, nor for the world or the visuals (they failed to make good use of CryEngine 3), so I bid Panzar farewell without regrets. With great relief even. [08/2014, p.63]
