If you enjoy managing simple resources while watching your troops do their thing, you’ll probably like this game. For me, Kingdom may be a bit on the simple side, but it is this simplicity that keeps me coming back to try, try again.

It might not do anything particularly new for the now well-worn roguelike genre, but Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate does so many things right that it’s hard to get too down on its apparent lack of originality.

Tricky Towers is a nice and fun game, which will give you a lot of fun, specifically at parties. With a couple of drinks involved, this game will be a hit. Considering it is one of this months PlayStation Plus games, there is no better time than the present to download it.

TRIZEAL Remix is up your alley if you love old school arcade games. For everyone else I am not too sure. I think it would be an acquired taste for everyone else.

Overall Daydreamer: Awakened Edition is a unique game with some awesome ideas and brilliant character design, as well as intriguing worlds to fight through.

It’s fun, and probably will keep you entertained in short bursts, and with 6 modes of play to occupy you, it wont let you down.

f you want a cheap game you can have a proper gaming session with and pull an all-nighter to complete, this isn’t for you. This is a good game for people that want to pass a few minutes, but minutes can turn to hours quicker than you’d think. You’ve been warned.

I personally had fun with it and was impressed with the overall presentation, however the repetitive gameplay leads me to feel that it is still quite overpriced.

With a decent experience for solo players and funny – if occasionally long winded – multiplayer matches, there’s plenty to pass the time with here. Not a groundbreaking title by any means, but it’s polished, bug-free and looks really nice, uncluttered and bright. Just a fun game to crack out when your mates pop around.

Though boss battles may be unoriginal, the nostalgic music, gameplay and overall tone make Ninja Smasher a smash hit.

It’s not the best game in the series by any stretch of the imagination, but that fantastic, fast paced, arcade-style gameplay is fully intact with Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS Force delivering one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I have had on the Vita in quite some time.

An awesome start to what I hope is a fantastic series.

If you are like me, and looking at jumping in on The Banner Saga having skipped the first one my advice is pretty simple – don’t. Do yourself a favour and spare the extra coin in getting the first game bundled along with it, you’ll thank yourself in the long run.

Overall Hunter’s Legacy is not a bad game, it’s just not great. It does have some very interesting Metroidvania elements and I enjoyed the sense of progression when eventually finding the correct path I was supposed to be taking. I was disappointed with the lackluster combat, which ultimately hindered my overall enjoyment.

Shmups Skill Test is admittedly low on content, and is better described as an application to quantify your thumb-skills rather than a fully fledged shooting game.

A unique and awe-inspiring game; the story, while open to exposition, has much to say and every one should delve in to the depths and have a listen.

No, the Inheritance DLC doesn’t stray far from the feeling the base game gives, but it is definitely it’s own, separate story with its own protagonist and endings. If you didn’t enjoy the main game, you won’t enjoy this. But if you are like me and found the way the game tells its story interesting and worth the time to play through, then this DLC is perfect for you.

Certainly it could do with being a bit longer, and some extra hints would be useful, but the typing-based command scheme adds a whole extra facet to an already impressive indie title and it’s one I can heartily recommend.

Even though the game has a few quirks and faults, it is still extremely fun, rewarding, and aesthetically pleasing. In the end, isn’t that all that matters in a game?

A fairly standard strategy title which for me lacks a little bit of magic.

Overall I really enjoyed my time with Retro City Rampage DX is this is the best way to play the game, with slight improvements to the controls and game difficulty.

Earth Defense Force 4.1 isn’t a game with an amazing story and the graphics are often less than impressive but the gameplay is addictive and easily accessible.

Once you see how different Obliteracers is, and all the better for it, you’ll have discovered a great little racing game with lots of fun to be had with friends.

I want Phantasmal to be amazing, the idea behind it is wonderful. However, the game simply fails and does not live up to the promise.

Human: Fall Flat just doesn’t have the humour of Octodad: Deadliest Catch or the challenge of Surgeon Simulator. Whilst it does have a few good ideas, especially with the incredibly fun swinging puzzles, and it’s obvious a lot of thought has gone into how the few mechanics can be used to their best effect, it just doesn’t make up for its many flaws.

This game clearly wasn’t optimized for the PS4. Nothing about this game should be challenging the PS4’s hardware to this extent so I’m clueless as to why this game performs as badly as it does. Overall I would say this is one to avoid.

If you like games like Streets of Rage and you enjoy funny writing and leveling characters, then you’ll love this. For me, the pinnacle of the Brawler/RPG crossover.

The randomness of Death Road to Canada may put off some, the difficulty can spike instantly and whilst you could have done everything right up until this point, the game is unforgiving in its punishment and to some that may seem incredibly frustrating. Though for many this game will prove to be a game that takes up a lot of time with its replayability, remembering to embrace the randomness and the games jittering pace.
