Easily one of the top five games I’ve played this year and quite possibly the best top-down shooter I’ve ever played, at least in a long time.

A great little game. If the idea a relaxing puzzle game with intense visuals and a wonderful soundtrack appeals to you then I highly recommend it. A real pleasure.

The best part is this is an official Naruto game and it is free-to-play.

Stranger of Sword City does especially well with its monster design, all of which are excellent.

The hint system makes the game ridiculously easy and I would only recommend using it if you get stuck completely or don’t have much patience with puzzle solving. If you like puzzle games, visual novels or even some of the Telltale games I would suggest checking this out, but there are plenty of other games out there that do similar things and offer better experiences.

Battleships has both a solo campaign and multi-player option. Although the multi-player option works well, we found we were too busy with the AI controlled missions and their various challenges. How often can you say that about a game that has both single and multi-player modes?

I don’t think there is any other way to say it, Nightmares from the Deep 2: The Siren’s Call is just as good as most of games from the same vein.

Despite its misjudged insistence on following the narrative of the anime to the letter, its disappointing levelling system, the lack of variety and the technical deficiencies inherent to the Vita port, Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom remains an immensely enjoyable take on the ever popular anime.

From the puzzles reflecting ideas, concepts, and even past conversations to the optional rooms requiring lateral thinking that is brought up several sectors after the room that needs it, The Turing Test truly will test you.

I cannot stress it enough, this game is functional, playable, and looks absolutely wonderful. With all that said, there isn’t much else to this game and unless you’d like to play the game to observe the awesome claymation (or to net a fairly easy 1000G), then there’s not much here for you. I truly wish I could praise the game more, but I simply felt that after my four hour playthrough was just a slog simply to be able to aptly review the full game.

People, you need this game. I cannot tell you enough, it is a game that is worthy of your time. It is one of those games you feel envelope you, suck you in and hold you close. It will stick with you long after the roll of the credits; Alone With You truly is a special game.

For a very reasonable asking price, you get a very potent horror game that, ultimately, leans a little too heavily on its jump-scares to carve out a unique personality of its own.

The most disappointing feature is the promise from the art style and character designs.

It’s a more complete package than the base game alone, and if you crave for the days of classic horror games such as Scratches or Silent Hill, Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition delivers in spades. In the run up to autumn, it’d be great to crack out at Halloween on the big screen with surround sound, letting your family all take turns scaring each other half to death.

I’m rating this an 8/10 for excellent story telling, great setting and premise and for flawlessly weaving together a solid mix of gameplay mechanics to create an overall fulfilling and enthralling experience from start to finish.

Attack on Titan the game is an excellent interactive recreation of the show.

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron certainly does have its flaws but the intense gameplay makes up for what the game is lacking.

A great attempt at merging a superbly crafted story, exceptional acting and pressurised decision making.

After playing through more levels and trying out the different characters, I am pleased to say that although it is not as intense as Koei’s Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, it is a nice hack and slash game to have on the 3DS. So if you are a cat person but also like to battle with them, then this game is the perfect combo for you.

As it stands right now, Momentum is a completely average example of the genre. The core of the game is solid and robust. The challenge and feeling of reward is there in full. Hampered by the terrible camera implementation however, and it becomes a chore to progress through.

It’s funny witty and has a lot of character. It won’t be for everyone but if you’re a fan of turn based JRPGS, anime or are just looking for a good time sink I would say give this a try.

Grow Up is a great game which has taken what made the first game so enjoyable and has added some fun new abilities and mechanics to make exploration even more enjoyable.

There is nothing inherently broken in the game, but there is plenty that could be fixed. Valley is fun (at times), but is simply not polished enough to maintain consistent amounts of said fun.

Definitely the best workshop add-on so far simply due to the scale of it and the additional story.

Whether it will garner the kind of global success that it deserves remains to be seen, but as it stands, an argument could be made for King of Fighters XIV being the finest brawler of the generation.

Unsurprisingly, the core gameplay and the option to play locally with friends are what hold strong, perhaps indicating that no matter what technological advances come our way, the tried-and-tested strategic Risk experience will always be relevant.

Elder Games really did a great job with Meridian: Squad 22. The polished graphics were complimented very nicely by the challenging gameplay and were heightened by an awesome score.

For those who like a bit of puzzle solving now and again, and take a break from exploration, story and action, then Metrico+ is a delight to get stuck into.
