It does feel like you’re playing a mobile game on your console but that’s not a bad thing.

Newcomers to Grand Theft Auto III would giggle at the primitive graphics, spoiled by the advancements of the past 15 years. For seasoned gamers however, Grand Theft Auto III was the absolute tits back in the day and I really enjoyed playing it again. Sure, I paid out my butt for it but that was my choice, no one forced me to do it. Now, if you don’t mind, I’ve got a platinum trophy to nail.

Spareware is an interesting idea, that just wasn’t thought out well enough to be a hit on next-gen platforms. Lack of online accessibility and repetitiveness are major flaws, but If you are looking for a fun game at a great price to play with friends, then Spareware is the game for you.

Zen Pinball has an amazing sense of physics for the most part, only let down by overactive bumpers.

If IDEAFactory wanted to ramp up the replay-ability factor of MeiQ, a DLC in the future which allowed for multi-player races against one another, or co-operative raids would be a welcome idea. Or a randomly generated dungeon, since the dungeons themselves are fantastic and simply having new ones to go through would help its longevity. Patches with the occasional new monster/monster mechanic couldn’t hurt, nor could personal or online goals to complete such as time-limit/damage dealt/survival mode.

Vortex Attack provides challenging and fun gameplay with an arcade mode that relies on repetition but delivers on replayability.

Lethe shows real promise, but perhaps not as a hardcore horror experience. Its well-crafted environments make for an adventure that’s less than scary but more than unsettling – an imperfect but enjoyable journey into a dark world that looks realistic but feels hollow.

Everything about it is fair/good, but nothing about it is overwhelmingly noteworthy. It’s just a solid game from top to bottom in a genre that’s gotten pretty lazy overall with clones, which this is not.

There’s a lot to love about this game, even with its lackluster story and presentation. But with its incredible music, awesome characters, and fairly deep customization, every anime and RPG fan should definitely give this game a chance now that it’s more widely available.

Shadwen is an enjoyable game that can be finished quickly by killing everyone, or spread out over weeks as you perfect each level as stealthily as possible and I know there will be some of you reading this who will relish such an opportunity, but for me something just didn’t quite hit the mark.

The one concern I would raise is game length. If you aren’t that much of a completionist, you can “complete” the game in an afternoon however the game compensates with so much extra content of repeating levels again and other secrets.

As always, those with a sense of nostalgia attached to the game will be the primary market, but even if you’ve never played/heard of Exerion before, the classic arcade gameplay that drives this simplistic but effective shooter remains as addictive and enjoyable as ever.

Despite my initial reservations, Farming Simulator 15 is not boring or tedious, it’s a fantastic amount of fun and definitely worth adding to your collection.

If you judge it as a sonic game it’s disappointing but if you judge it for a good platformer it’s not a bad game by any means but there’s better and worse sonic games out there. That said it rarely delivers the speed you crave and as a sonic fan I was disappointed about this.

If your looking for a game that you can sink plenty of hours into, that looks better than ever and satisfying gameplay, then its worth checking out. That being said if you weren’t a fan of the gameplay the first time around nothing has changed on that side of things.

Don’t Die, Mr. Robot! is a quick fire arcade game that is surprisingly good fun in small bursts. As the sort of game that can be returned to over and over again, particularly after a long hiatus, it’ll be a welcome mainstay for your PS Vita library for quite some time. The classic aesthetics of the game along with some variety will remind of lost afternoons in the arcade, without gobbling up your loose change at the same time.

The restricted maps and character pool really do make Obliteracers feel somewhat empty. Despite this I’ve given the game a 7/10 overall because it is addictive.

It is enjoyable and challenging on its own, with a rating scale after each level telling you how well you did in a time frame, to really challenge the player in to focusing on the physics of the game.

It’s hardly the spiritual successor to Jonah Lomu Rugby that we have all been (patiently) waiting for, but despite its issues and its relatively budget presentation, Tru Blu Entertainment’s, Rugby Challenge 3 stands comfortably as the best virtual recreation of the sport this generation and a perfectly enjoyable rugby video game in its own right.

The pacing of the narrative works well and kept me wanting to push forward and find out more. I would certainly recommend this game if you like point and click adventure games or like narrative driven games that have slightly darker and mature themes, but still manages to have moments of humour.

Although it was an enjoyable experience there were plenty of aspects that could have been more polished and with more to do, plus the constant similarities to XCOM only made me yearn for another playthrough of Firaxis’ offering.

A well designed, compact story that delivers an immersive and absorbing experience. The game only took me around an hour and a half to complete, but I’m sure that I missed a few things along the way.
