Concrete Jungle has a very nice look, the interface works well, you can control the game with mouse/keyboard or with a game-pad.

A few bugs aside, including some framerate jumps, the game is very playable and quite fun. But creating your own, individual lore for each character is where Moon Hunters shines.

Less experienced players can still enjoy Pure Chess and will find loads here to challenge them and advance their game, but I think it’s a shame that there really isn’t anything outside of chess in itself that really adds interest.

I have no problem saying that I loved playing Pixel Galaxy. I still haven’t finished all the difficulties and I find the whole thing extremely frustrating, but I fully endorse the experience.

Whether you’re looking to test your skills against this classic enemy or just relive some arcade action, Arcade Archives THE LEGEND OF KAGE does the trick about as well as any other from its era.

Samorost is quite simply one of the most beautiful games that I have played in recent times.

It does feel a bit tacked on to the series but I tried to see it as a singular experience and I’m now excited to see what happens in the upcoming episodes.

The game doesn’t do anything too new, or groundbreaking and is simply a card game. If that is all you’re looking for, you’re in luck. Otherwise, don’t expect much from the game. For me, this will be the only version of the game I’ll be playing from now on.

A decent little game which I enjoyed playing through. The gameplay is simple, but requires some thought and consideration when taking on enemies. The game can get quite tricky at times, but I enjoyed the challenge.

Solar Shifter is a fun Indie game. Targeting a niche corner of the gaming community in all honesty, but if you’re feeling brave and fancy your chances then give it a go. A few issues that if they were fixed and or changed, would have warranted a higher score.

f you want a cheap game you can have a proper gaming session with and pull an all-nighter to complete, this isn’t for you. This is a good game for people that want to pass a few minutes, but minutes can turn to hours quicker than you’d think. You’ve been warned.

Turok: Dinosaur Hunter Remastered it’s an easy recommendation for nostalgic fans so long as they curb any lofty expectations of it being just as good as it was almost twenty years ago. Give this a try as a newcomer and you’ll be surprised to find a solid dino blasting relic that hasn’t quite defied the conventions of time, but is still fun nonetheless.

Sword Coast Legend is a game that combines great story-telling with character development. The gameplay provides a good experience by customization but does not manage to keep the experience entirely fluid with consistent bugs and glitches which riddle the game.

Da Orks is a more than satisfactory hex based strategy game that, like the original Armageddon, makes excellent use of the Warhammer 40k license.

The Red Solstice delivers. You get what’s advertised and that is perfectly fine. If you enjoyed titles like XCOM, Diablo and sometimes think back to 2004’s “Full Spectrum Warrior” with a warm nostalgic feeling, then you will undoubtedly enjoy this game and it’s tactical RPG-styled gameplay.

While it isn’t the best story in the genre, and it isn’t the best story-driven game out there, it is interesting enough to keep players engaged for the time it takes to finish.

Ultimately, Unepic is a solid little RPG with a ton of heart. It’s playful humour is refreshing, it’s filled to the brim with content and there’s a lot of depth beneath it’s deceptively simple veneer. For those looking for a deep RPG adventure a little off the beaten track, Unepic is ready when you are.

As a huge fan of the Tropico series, I’m delighted with the package that Tropico 5 Penultimate Edition provides, but I certainly don’t think I would recommend it as highly to someone who had recently invested in Tropico 5 on the Xbox 360, for example.

A very solid, budget Action-RPG. It’s surprisingly well-written and it’s brimming with rich lore and bizarre characters. If you can persevere and see past the minor camera issues, stilted dialogue and occasionally busywork-feeling combat there is a lot to enjoy here. Go in with an open mind and you just might find a beautiful, but course RPG gem… baby.

The Way is a fun adventure, filled with difficult-but-fair puzzles and wonderful art direction, but often marred by clumsy control issues and poor checkpointing, made especially worse in a game filled with long backtracking segments.
