With it’s fast, responsive, and rewarding gameplay, 10 Second Ninja X will keep fans of this type of game busy for a few hours. If it weren’t for two things, I would give the game a perfect score. But sadly, while I was playing, my retries were plagued with an obnoxious glitch that caused my character to shake violently and force me to retry again.

Driveclub is a must-have for any PS4 racing fan. It’s ideal for anyone who enjoys a good arcade racer. It’s challenging, but teaches you how to overcome every single one. Because of this, Driveclub is far more rewarding than its peers. This coupled with fantastic graphical fidelity, impressive sound design, and adrenaline-inducing sense of speed makes Driveclub one of the best racing games available on current-gen systems.

Easily one of the top five games I’ve played this year and quite possibly the best top-down shooter I’ve ever played, at least in a long time.

I strongly recommend this game even if you’re new to the franchise or a long time fan as it defines what makes the series so great. If this is to be the last in the series, it’s quite frankly a fantastic send off.

It does so much right in terms of design and stealth however at times lacks in terms of ‘new’ and ‘exciting’ gameplay with regards to the puzzles.

It’s a game that excels at not only being a great action-RPG, but a memorable pulp-narrative experience and because of this, it’s very hard not to recommend Stories: The Path of Destinies to anyone but the most curmudgeonly and cantankerous.

Overall Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is simply one of the best games in recent years and is arguably one of the best games of this generation.

Whether it be the finer details that the game gets so right, the brilliantly written script, the deep, addictive battle system or the simple fact that, Larian Studios have somehow managed to make it all work on a home console, the fact of the matter is; Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition, regardless of where you decide to play it, has to go down as one of the single finest Western RPGs released in the last five years.

If you enjoy exploration (either environmentally or through dialog), Dex will keep you very busy and engaged the whole time.

It expands many features and explores more of the deeply rich story that has been long-established since the original Guild Wars released. It is a fantastic experience and definitely goes among my personal top 10 games ever played.

For those who like a bit of puzzle solving now and again, and take a break from exploration, story and action, then Metrico+ is a delight to get stuck into.

If you like games like Streets of Rage and you enjoy funny writing and leveling characters, then you’ll love this. For me, the pinnacle of the Brawler/RPG crossover.

A joy to play. If you are a fan of old school side scrolling platformers like Metroid and even Aladdin, then you will definitely enjoy Shantae. Everything from its graphics to its difficulty is straight from the 90s, but luckily for us brought into the future.

All things considered, Oli Oli 2 is still an amazing game and the XL edition just reinforced my belief in that. The game still plays, looks and sounds as great as it has ever done.

There’s a hell of a lot in this game that’s good, and in some cases is really good, and that’s the stuff that really stays with you after you shut the game down. This is a great example of genuinely good ideas being put into practice in a way that’s well done, if not perfect. A lot could have gone badly wrong with this game, and, for my money, it’s a damn impressive game and well worth a play.

You’ve played this game a thousand times before. It’s a run-and-gun platformer with pixel graphics and plinky-plonk music. But this is one of the purest, most addicting forms of that genre. It’s the best parts of Megaman and Contra distilled through the brain of a man who only wants to bring you joy, to make you feel that sepia-toned happiness you thought had ceased to exist. There’s a part of your heart that’s become calloused throughout the years, let Kero Blaster make it feel fresh again.

Yakuza 5 is a fantastic late addition to the 2015 line up of RPGs, and deserves to stand with the others, such as The Witcher 3, or Fallout 4. If you’re already a Yakuza fan, then you already know how great this game is. But, if you’re new to the series Yakuza 5 is a fantastic way to start out. Please, play this game.

This for me is one of the best indie offerings this year and I would say it is worth the price point for sure, do yourself a favour and give it at try if you think at all it would suit you.

The somewhat clichéd plot, the inconsistent tone of the dialogue and the likeable, but ultimately forgettable cast do hold this game back from greatness, but despite these issues, Bravely Second: End Layer remains one of the finest JRPGs of the past decade and a welcome reminder of what can be achieved on the Nintendo 3DS’ ageing hardware.

Sure, it’s a little late to the party, but it’s here now and it’s as undeniably fantastic as one might have hoped. Good in single player, great online and absolutely fantastic when played locally with friends, Rocket League goes down as one of the greatest sports games of the past few years and arguably the best multiplayer game of the generation.
