The lack of an easily definable grid system does mean that Hyper Void feels less precise than some of the more famous examples of the genre, and yes, the inclusion of a story is both strange and largely pointless, but thanks to its fantastic level design, silky smooth 60fps visuals and the brilliant implementation of a power gauge, Hyper Void represents another fine example of the genre, one that can comfortably stand shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Tempest and TxK.- Brash Games

We enjoy playing it and although, as I said, the voice acting isn’t great and it crashed a few times but other than that the game flows really well, it’s a game about mystery, crime and solving murders and puzzles and we can’t wait to play through the rest of the game and complete it. As we are determined we will catch the ABC murderer and put him behind bars.- Brash Games

Day of The Tentacle is an absolutely fantastic game. There’s a reason I avoided talking too much about the story or puzzles. You, absolutely all of you, deserve to experience it on your own. Perhaps the Vita version isn’t exactly the best way to go, but it’s certainly a fine way to choose if you do so. For 15 bucks, there’s zero reason anyone should pass up the chance to play this well-aged piece of gaming history.- Brash Games

It might all sound like light hearted fun on paper, and it largely is, but once you get into the dungeons themselves, this is pure Zelda (albeit with a twist).- Brash Games

Generally speaking, this is probably one of the better strategy games in this sort of time period you could get. There are a few flaws, and it’s certainly far from perfect, but even that helps to make the game endearing, and it’s just deep enough that it doesn’t get too dull too quickly. There’s a pretty much limitless amount of replayability, and there’s always something happening within the game, which helps to tide you over while you wait for the next major objective.- Brash Games

The premise of Johnny’s Payday Panic seems monotonous on first look, nevertheless once you jump in, you’ll soon realise that work surprisingly can be fun.- Brash Games

It’s a more complete package than the base game alone, and if you crave for the days of classic horror games such as Scratches or Silent Hill, Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition delivers in spades. In the run up to autumn, it’d be great to crack out at Halloween on the big screen with surround sound, letting your family all take turns scaring each other half to death.- Brash Games

The art style is unique and I found that I wanted to keep on going, simply to find out what was going to happen. It wasn’t what I was expecting but I’m really glad that I stuck with it and experienced it. It would just have been nice to of had a little bit more input.- Brash Games

I really appreciate Neverwinter for what it is: a fun, easy-to-pick-up MMO that takes your hand and shows you the incredible and vast landscape of a genre I’ve been afraid to take my first proper steps into. If you can gather a few friends to create your own guild with, this could well be an action-MMORPG to really get lost in.- Brash Games

Overall Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment is a game for true anime fans. For those looking for a traditional RPG, I suggest watching the first part of season one of the series before diving into this game as it will make more sense.- Brash Games

I loved my time with Grand Kingdom and was surprised by how much depth there is to the game. The RPG mechanics feel rewarding and there’s plenty to experiment with. It’s a game that will take some time getting used to but the reward for doing so is fantastic.- Brash Games

It’s a shame that Tequila Works didn’t take the time to improve upon the audio delivery or tweak the slightly floaty controls, but with a solid story, a consistently spellbinding art style and mostly impressive level design, Deadlight: Director’s Cut, while largely unchanged, remains as enjoyable today as it did back in 2012.- Brash Games

Rocketbirds 2: Evolution is a fun game to play and definitely worth your time especially if you played the first Rocketbirds. The new mode adds more depth and will have you going back for more which is something that you don’t usually find in a game like this. If you enjoy your eggs hard boiled and don’t mind making a mess then be prepared to wing it and lose a few hours to Rocketbirds 2: Evolution.- Brash Games

Battlezone 98 Redux prevails because it keeps the identity of the original, without alienating any modern audiences. The game shows its age in terms of its graphics, its controls, and its story. But the timeless blend of action and strategy are what makes this game stay fresh, and with the strategy genre becoming stale with each new release, perhaps this remaster is just what it needs to revitalise it.- Brash Games

Once you have mastered the new controls, which are only slightly tweaked, it’s a fun experience that new players and fans of the original will enjoy. It’s a shame that the game didn’t make its return earlier in the Wii U’s life cycle as I see it as a pretty decent exclusive title.- Brash Games
