Any "Diablo" fan should lap the game up. It's a detailed, entertaining and long-lasting adventure with plenty to do and see.- Boomtown

If you’re a Tomb Raider completist or reckon you’ve great dexterity then you will find a very pleasing game here. I enjoyed my time with the PSP version of Tomb Raider Legend yet I knew it could have been a hell of a lot better.- Boomtown

- Critic Score
Buy it, play it and love it as that’s what the Street Fighter games are all about.- Boomtown

If you can get past the problems or are fortunate enough not to care you are going to find a great biking sim with amazing depth and longevity. It’s one of the best loved games on Live, and this release shouldn’t do too much to change that.- Boomtown

- Critic Score
It's a fun little romp that returns to some of the classic elements of the GTA series after the stylistic bump in the road that was San Andreas.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
If you're someone who spends hours making movies with the game though the add-on is well worth you taking a look at. A bit more variety in the next expansion is warranted though as are some tweaks to the core gameplay.- Boomtown

It’s clear that this game is aimed at children. If you have a child that’s a fan of the film, this will no-doubt appeal to them and they may well find it a lot more enjoyable than older gamers.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
It certainly feels like a complete segment, in that the ending is satisfying, interesting and leading towards the next episode.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
It’s possibly the most mainstream Hitman yet but it’s also the most accessible and dare I say it the most fun. It’s certainly the most accomplished.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
This is an awful, awful, awful game. Don’t even buy it for your enemies. Don’t even think about it. You’ll never get the time back you spend playing this rubbish.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Sitting, uneasily as it does, between pure bred sim and arcade flyer, it should serve well as an introduction to the genre for those who've yet to reel through their first barrel roll, while the more hardcore player should find some challenge with the difficulty level ramped up.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The turn-based gameplay works surprisingly well on the PSP and the gameplay is easy to pick up and play, but packed with nuances and subtleties that you'll learn over time.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
As such, the game has to be recommended but with certain caveats. Be aware of the skill levels needed to do well in both single player and multiplayer and if I’ve done my job correctly, you have now been well warned. If you have the mettle for the game, you’ll be delighted at what Rockstar has done and you’ll no doubt go on to great things on Xbox Live.- Boomtown

There are elements of the game that are enjoyable, particularly when it comes to the puzzles, but often the Da Vinci Code is as flat as its voice actors.- Boomtown

Welcome back, Mario. Each day without you was like another dagger through my (S)NES, and your return is triumphant if short-lived.- Boomtown

Should you buy it? Only if you’re willing to buy another 8 more somewhere down the line.- Boomtown

It’s the sort of game that even the most ardent tactical shooter fans are going to find frustrating.- Boomtown

Despite finding the storyline enjoyable, I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was only there to prepare me for PvP action.- Boomtown

Technical shortcomings do mar the experience though as does the lack of multiplayer.- Boomtown

Not only will you be giving yourself the chance to sample some of the best driving title delights in recent memory, but you’ll be encouraging all those other publishers and developers to keep on tweaking those much-loved, but ridiculously over-looked classics and offer up more of the same.- Boomtown

Five years is a long time for things to essentially stay the same, no matter how enjoyable they may have been in the first place.- Boomtown

One of the most fun, convincing, action-packed and atmospheric football games released on a console. It’s not merely a tournament cash-in, the choice of teams and game content mean it’s a full game in its own fight and bodes very well for the next full FIFA game.- Boomtown

The real meat and potatoes of the game lies in the championship mode. Hardcore fans of the sport will be delighted to know that it is an exact reproduction of the real life version.- Boomtown

- Critic Score
If you liked the world of the original, buy it, you’ll get a kick out of everything, but if you’ve not even played the first one, then buy The Longest Journey and see what Dreamfall should have been; like its predecessor, focussed on the puzzles.- Boomtown

If there is to be a sequel, and I join the rising chorus of voices demanding one, it is going to have to properly develop the core (design) gameplay that Tomb Raider: Legend gets back to.- Boomtown

No matter what you decide, Hearts of Iron II and Doomsday represent some of the best turn-based strategy you’ll ever play.- Boomtown

Much of Tourist Trophy feels like a duller version of Gran Turismo 4 and that game wasn't exactly packed with thrilling racing. Polyphony really does need to rework its racing games to include some racing. There's fun to be had in TT but not nearly as much as there should be.- Boomtown

Ubersoldier has been made with some interesting ideas (although the choice of a WW2 setting seems strange considering the crowdedness of the genre and the nature of the story), but the execution of these ideas is far from perfect.- Boomtown

- Critic Score
The game looks and sounds delightful, and is every bit as good as you expect.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
I loved the sheer amount to do within the game and hope for a next gen Kingdom Hearts 3 in the same way the Final Fantasy series never fails to engross me for an exorbitant amount of time.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Hobbling a good game with awful controls is a crime and in this respect I judge Pandemic guilty as charged.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
And the inclusion of a short, after-thought of an add-on simply isn’t enough to encourage me to urge any of you to spend fifty pounds of your hard earned cash.- Boomtown

- Critic Score
Despite its annoying flaws, Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires isn’t a bad game. It's just a pitifully bare improvement over its predecessors when it should be hitting its oft-teased promise.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Those of you who experienced the original and didn't like it, you won't like this either. Those of you who enjoyed it will enjoy Ten Hammers and the extra vs. mode.- Boomtown

- Critic Score
A worthy successor in the Far Cry franchise, the small single player game reflects is budget price, but the awesome multiplayer makes it more than worth the price tag.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
It’s just an anachronistic burp from long ago, repeating itself with an apologetic grin and a flutter of its eyelashes to turn into an average RTS of today. Er, I’ve got no idea where this metaphor’s going. Just look at the score.- Boomtown

If the developer doesn’t care to address the problems True Crime: New York City has, you shouldn’t care to buy it. It’s that simple.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
A deeply flawed game. From the terrible image tearing to the offensive voice-overs, it’s as big a failure as I’ve seen from a major Publisher for some time.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The game is good fun if a little frustrating. Fans of the original might be a little miffed by the drastic shift in dynamic, but as long as you recognize that this isn't just a side-scrolling beat 'em up, you should be pleasantly surprised.- Boomtown
-

There is a lot of retro fun here and if you only carry one UMD with you this is as good as any to keep you entertained.- Boomtown

It’s a perfect handheld game and something that’s bound to always keep a smile on your face.- Boomtown

There’s a lot to like about The Godfather and enough neat little touches to make it one to look out for (side missions, unlockables, character progression and the fighting style spring immediately to mind). Unfortunately though, there’s not quite enough polish in some areas to make it an essential purchase.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
As much as this game would like you to believe it's suitable for all ages, I believe it's been made with kids in mind and at the same time, someone in the Quality Control department at Jowood has thought that low quality will be fine for said same children.- Boomtown

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is less a videogame and more a life in and of itself. The longer I’m away from it the more I come to appreciate it.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Here we have a game that is intelligent and uncompromising yet wonderfully easy to get involved with and enjoy.- Boomtown

- Critic Score
The potential of the technologically disruptive DS is just beginning to be exploited. Metroid Prime: Hunters is a great game, and one that really should shift systems. Buy it, play it, and you’ll understand.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
If Daxter can be accused of anything it’s playing it too safe. It’s a title never feels anything less than solid, but outside the impeccable presentation Daxter is rarely inspired; it’s enjoyable rather than exhilarating.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Though the multiplayer premise sounds like an excellent watered down version of the Battlefield series, the same flaws that come to close to completely crippling the single player experience only detract from the overall quality of the game to the extent that it barely improves on the single player format.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The slight frame rate issues do grate, but Midnight Club 3 is so un-ashamedly arcade like - and refuses to even attempt to act like anything more – that it stands out as a true racing gem.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
If GRAW is as well supported with extra maps and content as Ghost Recon was, this is one of those genuine cases of a game you’ll be playing until a sequel comes along.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
It’s horribly unbalanced (you can walk out of one boss fight straight into another with no save ability in-between). It’s still a goof game on a purely destructive level – where the hacking and slashing is as good as the series has to offer.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The new addiction revenge part is doing that job perfectly, though, and if you like arcade racing games, Burnout: Revenge is the best you can get for the 360. Criterion has done it once again.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
What we have in The Battle For Middle Earth 2 is a good title, very good at times, that could become rather great with some patching.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The eight or nine hours it will take you to complete the game are hugely enjoyable.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
If you love 24, you’ll get a kick out of the game. If you don’t know 24 from 10, then you’d better drop a couple of points from the score, start from series one, then decide if it’s your thing.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Capcom has dropped the ball and left us with a title that will be forgotten about even before it hits the bargain bins, which won’t be too long at all by the looks of things.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
A better game is lost inside the presentation and ultimately fails to exploit the fun and potential of faster-paced matches, especially in the case of a sequel.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Perhaps the most pleasing aspect of this new game is that instead of some series being good and others (such as rallying) being very poor, the general quality level of each type of racing is very high.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Stardock has created a deep, intelligent, yet not too serious strategy game that’s going to be the best of its class for quite a while.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
There's definitely a market for this type of game, it's easy to get into, easy to play and you get a good sense of achievement from it.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
It’s attractive and zippy, and it’s also frustrating and unfriendly for those who just want to pick it up for fun.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
A very amiable game. You really want to it to be better than it is, and with its flashes of brilliance it's easy to get deceived into thinking it's far more playable than initial appearances.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Quests just involve killing a certain number of creatures. Nothing more. If that’s all you want, fine, but most folk are going to want more out of a game.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Unless boxing disgusts you, you do have to own this, and I’ll take anyone on in the ring if despite the single player frustrations (if anyone suggests turning down the difficulty I’ll slug them) they can’t see the beauty and polish that has gone into the gameplay.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
I don’t want to give the impression this is just another lazy Star Wars game, because it’s clear a lot of love has gone into the game. But there’s a lack of ambition at the heart of Empire at War that is the ultimate reason for its failure to be a really great strategy game.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Fails to spark any excitement, innovation, or fun at all.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The main issue I have with the game is that the units, even with their team colours, lack individuality.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The level of destruction you’re capable of is phenomenal. If you’ve ever played "Burnout" and wished you could do as much damage to the scenery as you can do to cars, then this is the game for you.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
There's nothing significant to recommend this over the previous ones if you already own one. If you don't then this is a good introduction to the series.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The online mode is not entirely satisfactory, and even has specific graphical errors such as a lack of shadows underneath the cars, and this mars the general picture a bit. And the graphical performance on certain tracks should perhaps also have been optimised.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
It’s a good game, but nothing more. It’s certainly not great. The single-player game isn’t very well balanced for most gamers and at times seems rather unfair.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
At some stage during development, either the money ran out or everyone just decided they couldn’t be bothered. Dynasty Warriors 4 Hyper absolutely reeks of sloppy work.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The game isn’t perfect, in-fact I would be pushed to avoid calling it a poor version, but the mere fact that I am still addicted to it, and playing it must count for something in this world.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Two Thrones just lacks that special spark. Thus it is difficult to think about Two Thrones without feeling regret.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
At the end of the day the experience, despite how crooked it can appear in parts, is absolutely entertaining. From a budget game, that’s about the best you can ask.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
PoPoLoCrois’ main downfall is that it really doesn’t bring anything new or original to the RPG arena.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The new maps nicely supplement the old ones and the expansion adds plenty of mileage for fans of the game.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
In spite of the odd struggle with the controls, this is a good adventure through and through, and that’s what makes the game worth playing.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Ridge Racer 6's major irritant is the world's most annoying DJ. He'll make you want to smash the game to bits within a few minutes with his insane banter while you're racing.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The game plays very smoothly. The controls are a little sluggish but the frame rate is smooth and it feels right. Perfect Dark Zero isn't a killer reason to buy the new console but it does stand out amongst the launch titles as a good game.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Probably the best launch title for the Xbox 360, with killer graphics, intense gameplay and a solid, if slightly small multiplayer element.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Is the game a kid's game? If it is, that's no excuse for such a shoddy piece of work.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The much vaunted Gotham TV is fun, but more welcome is being able to save your replays when playing with friends rather than watching strangers.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
A reasonable sports simulation that’s fun for fans and non fans alike. It’s a real pity they couldn’t have done more with the 360 version though, as apart from a slight bump in the graphics department and a couple of new moves it’s pretty much identical to the Xbox and PS2 versions.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
It might come as a surprise, but I would actually have preferred a direct conversion of FIFA 06 to this.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
With solid Xbox Live play, NBA 2K6 is a professionally rounded off package. Special enough to be the best out there and satisfy the fans, but not friendly enough to encourage most newcomers to take up the challenge, which is a shame as this game deserves all the attention it gets.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Arguably, the dress code is the highlight of a game that desperately needs some kind of distinguishing string to its bow, for otherwise it’s as bland and culturally distant as clichéd manga template design can be.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
Amped 3 brought lots of smiles to my face, but these were down to the wacky presentation rather than anything else.- Boomtown
-
- Boomtown

- Critic Score
Whatever the situation, we can only judge the game as it is now. And one thing is for sure: playing it for the first time is a journey that borders on magical.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
It’s solid with good visuals and enjoyable racing, but it does nothing new.- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
My advice: wait for the PC version, where you will have a fighting chance of playing the game with a better framerate and refined controls (and hopefully Activision will issue patches to cover its holes).- Boomtown

Valve has worked wonders translating this game over to Xbox. For Xbox owners who've not tackled the PC original, this is a must-buy game.- Boomtown

- Critic Score
Narnia is a slay ride with Santa Claus level of novelty for big fans of the books and/or movies, but a simplistic, repetitive but sometimes fun fantasy-action game for anyone else. Who are you gonna be?- Boomtown
-
- Critic Score
The lack of any challenge and enjoyment in single player, gameplay dull enough to send you into a coma, and complete lack of what games should be about, fun, means that ATV Quad Frenzy is about as appealing as a punch in the face. Utter rubbish.- Boomtown

- Critic Score
X3 is a great game, but if Egosoft grasped the challenge and offered immersion of the type seen in "Freelancer" and similar ship handling, combined with its own beautiful and complex universe, then we might finally have a game that deserves to called the new "Elite."- Boomtown
