Focusing solely on gameplay at the expense of everything else, Into the Breach is just one of the most entertaining games you’ve ever experienced.

It's safe to say that the Nintendo Switch version of Cuphead is the best among all others, and obviously because of the Switch's portable capabilities which made the gameplay experience twice as fun. A Plague Tale is not open world, does not offer multiplayer experience, and there is no big budget behind it. Instead it offers a linear stealth puzzle gameplay with a deep story and solid narrative, and that's exactly what we need every once in while. To seat behind our gaming device, disconnect from the whole world and just enjoy a great video game like the good old times.

The Vessel of Hatred expansion pack is what Diablo 4 should have been. Blizzard made many changes to the game's core mechanics, and now it offers more content, more engaging gameplay, and a stunning art design. It takes full advantage of the massive potential of the Diablo world.

Basically, Nier: Automata is a JRPG with a lot of hack n slash, but when you enter its world, you realize that you have never experienced anything like this before. A very mature story, combined with deep gameplay, a marvelous soundtrack and an engaging world and atmosphere has made Nier: Automata a very unique experience and one of the best games of 2017.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is a game worthy of Star Wars name, and although it is released by EA, there is no sign of in-app purchases and there is no requirement to connect to the internet. It’s just a rich, deep, good old action adventure title that we don’t come across very often anymore.

The new release of Layers of Fear is one of the best and most complete packages in the horror genre; one that improves the first game substantially and takes its story further forward with new DLCs. More work could have been done on the second game, nevertheless, this package is the best way to experience the whole franchise and is definitely recommended to any fan of the genre.
