The bad part is that the narrative is kinda slow paced and take some time before starting to get deeper and darker.

If you love video games, you have to play this, and if you are one of those who have already done it on more than one occasion, then believe me that this is a wonderful excuse to do it again.

Split Fiction is a game that tries to advance the studio’s formula while retaining the dynamism that made It Takes Two special, which it achieves by creating mechanics that are easy to understand and complex level design, but without forgetting the crazy ideas that are used in specific moments to make players laugh or give them a creative break. Although a deeper understanding of video games is necessary, everyone can appreciate what Hazelight Studios and Josef Fares have created, because, above all, Split Fiction is pure fun, and something that cannot be ignored this year.

The evolution of video games has been long and, at times, painful. Fortunately for all of us, the knowledge acquired before that eventuality was quickly revisited, and today we find ourselves in a much more mature era where both styles can coexist seamlessly and even combine in crazy new ways. Hollow Knight: Silksong feels largely like the result of so much experience...Hollow Knight: Silksong largely represents the best of this form of entertainment that we are so passionate about, this in the midst of a difficult crisis for the industry that is looking everywhere to reinvent itself to become profitable again and of course, not stop this unstoppable cascade of creativity that year after year gives us great experiences on all fronts. Almost out of nowhere, this small group of Australians returns to deliver one of the most special video games I have played in a long time at a price that still sounds ridiculous to many, precisely when the conversation on this matter has taken on very intense overtones due to the sustained rise in the price of these products.

It's more than obvious that if you recently got a Switch 2 a month ago, or even recently, this game must be your top priority. You really can't imagine the magical adventure, full of memorable moments, that awaits you.

Yacht Club Games is still surprising us with the Shovel Knight expansions, with a lot of substantial changes, Specter of Torment is a challenging experience that compliments Treasure Trove as a must have package to every fan of platform games.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is just the game we wanted and much more. This franchise demonstrates once more why it is so special.

Steamworld Heist is a package full of brightness: addictive gameplay, superb presentation, hours of strategic action, fun characters and a complete space adventure. Now the game looks better than ever on HD platforms and PS Vita.

Finally, Blizzard has a brand new franchise. Overwatch is a brilliant FPS based on heroes. It's competitive matches with tons of adrenaline, makes it one of the most enjoyable experiences of the year. Super precise controls, completely different playable characters, outstanding level design and a great work on art direction, are top level elements of this great game.

Shovel Knight is a true contemporary classic game with an excellent level design, sublime art direction, memorable soundtrack and addictive gameplay. It’s a wonderful tribute to a golden age of platform games and an indie that will be remembered for many years.

Insomniac Games has done it again. Although in effect, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 starts from the already very well-built base of its two predecessors, the way in which it expands things in all departments makes it a must-see game for anyone looking for a great story, amazing graphics, a polished, deep and very fun combat system, as well as an open world that, although systematic, always has something to offer to accentuate the excellent game mechanics that are being presented to us, this with a rhythm that makes letting go of control really difficult.

A bright history lesson. Before Chrono Trigger and Pokémon, this game was teaching us about capturing monsters and the passage of time. Fair price, engaging adventure.

This War of Mine show us the raw and frustating side of the war from the point of view of the survivals; a real roller coaster of feelings, decisions and gameplay mechanics well chosen to create a great experience in a game of survival and resource management.

Sea of Stars is much more than just a tribute for games like Chrono Trigger and Golden Sun. Sabotage created a truly special RPG experience that deserves to be considered as a GOTY contender.
