Battlestations: Midway offers up a change from other World War II themed games and real time strategy fans are really going to find some enjoyment in this title. Those who are more interested in action-packed gameplay may find the level of micromanagement and accessibility to be a problem.- Armchair Empire

For players with a large vocabulary, Scribblenauts Unlimited can be pretty simplistic and challenges overcome with a modicum of creative thought. However, kids will appreciate the paper-esque sensibility and chance to just do whatever pops into their heads. Good, clean fun all-round.- Armchair Empire

Maybe my only real complaint is that during Challenge mode there's a half-second delay from the completion of a line of tiles to the time is disappears.- Armchair Empire

Although TCW has its weaknesses, its biggest strength is that it simulates some extremely intense and action-packed Star Wars battles.- Armchair Empire

I know that there are better games out there today, especially within the genre, but I really enjoyed playing this game.- Armchair Empire

Taken altogether, it isn't hard to recommend Pump it Up Exceed to a number of groups: those that love DDR and have played through all of those games, those that are looking for a DDR-like game with a well-made dance pad, and those who are looking for a game to use as a weight-loss tool.- Armchair Empire

War Front: Turning Point never tries to reinvent the wheel – it simply does a good job of mimicking the conventions of real-time strategy games that have come before it and puts it into a very comfortable setting.- Armchair Empire

It’s easy to recognize that this is still a good fighting game, albeit a somewhat easy one to get through, that does justice to the DBZ legacy that not every DBZ game is able to do.- Armchair Empire

GST2 is a solid effort, but falls short in several areas. The career mode, opponent AI and presentation still need to be fine tuned. If EA can sort out these issues then there's no doubt GST3 could be the new Grand Slam Champion of tennis.- Armchair Empire

Hard Reset isn't a bad game, but it's rote old school sensibility has passed me by. I don't have the same kind of reflexes I did 5 or 10 years ago to properly appreciate the twitch elements, so maybe I have to take some responsibility on that front. For me, Hard Reset is unremarkable because it seems about 5 years too late for me.- Armchair Empire

Those expecting a more action heavy experience will feel a little let down, but as a puzzle heavy action game, Lara can more than hold her own.- Armchair Empire

The Wii version of the Metal Slug Anthology is somewhat less than ideal, primarily due to the control snafus...Still, you can get used to it, and despite tripping over itself, Metal Slug Anthology is a tremendous deal for your money, and is definitely worth checking out for anyone into chaotic old school mayhem.- Armchair Empire

If you can deal with the occasional frustrating roadblocks you'll face, then Lethal Skies II will probably be a somewhat enjoyable, if not particularly engaging, way to waste a few afternoons, even if you can't tell a MIG29 from an A-10.- Armchair Empire

The lack of a tutorial is a glaring omission in a game that is not intuitive at all for those unfamiliar with "Europa Universalis". With no objectives, if the gamer has no passing interest in history, the game is sure to fall flat.- Armchair Empire

It’s just a shame that the fun is over a little too quickly but if you were disappointed by Rising Sun, then MOH: EA will give you new faith in a series that seems to be going in the right direction again.- Armchair Empire

It’s the ham sandwich of shooter games. It won’t knock you on your ass with an explosion of flavor, nor will it bore you to tears with plainness, but mmmmmm, when the ham combines with the mustard, boy is it tasty.- Armchair Empire

This is a game that hardcore fans of the genre are more likely to want to spend some time with. Casuals are better off grabbing something like Castle Crashers or Chronicles of Mystara instead, as they are quite a bit better so far as beat 'em ups on the PC go.- Armchair Empire

While the immersion factor is high, it’s hard to feel like you’re playing much more than a support role in the overall war at times, unlike the role played in the Starfighter games.- Armchair Empire
