There's a lot to see and do in Dead Rising 2, even after the credits roll. Loads of nooks and crannies to explore and strategies to develop. Money well spent!

A solid story with accompanying satisfyingly gory and glorified GTA-esque Western gunplay along with added multiplayer and mini-game modes overcome a too-short story mode and just-barely-OK controls as Gun Showdown ride off into the sunset as a quality Western-themed adventure for the PSP.

Clearly aimed at locomotive enthusiasts and hardcore simmers. If you fall into those two categories, you’ll not be disappointed.

This iteration is a stellar continuation of the series – plus an offer for a free year of Golf World or Golf Digest to sweeten the deal for aficionados – but there’s room for expansion (including an LPGA event was good step!), rather than improvement.

The control aspect takes a bit of practice and some of the longer, tougher missions take a bit of patience to replay a few times to find the best points of tactical advantage, but Battalion Wars succeeds on being both an action game and a game of strategic pondering.

Black Rock Studios' last title was Pure, an ATV racer that dealt out a phenomenal amount of vertical experience. Lots of tricks and crazy stunts. It has remained in rotation at my house thanks to a 10-year old that has long since eclipsed my own skills at the game. And it looks like the studios' follow-up, Split/Second, will finally take Pure's place in that rotation.

It's fast action, and unique, varied game play makes this game a blast and a half.

That said, Plants vs. Zombies remains a triumph for PopCap. The game joins their Peggle at the top of the addictive, just-one-more-level-and-I'm-off-to-bed, list.

Even with it’s somewhat weaker story (in comparison to the original), Syberia II still managed to send a chill up my spine as the story closed.

Considering Alien Hominid's humble beginnings as a web-based flash game, the game we get here is as good or better than most side-scrolling shoot "em ups in recent memory.

While fans of the original might be disappointed by the amount of gameplay changes, it should appeal to mainstream gamers.

Bustin’ Out adds nothing but positive reinforcement to the Sims legacy.

With tons of game modes and a large number of customizable options World Tour Soccer 2003 will bring back soccer fans for more, even with it's short-comings.

You're not going to find a better beat 'em up, action game leading up to Christmas than The Warriors. The language is a little salty, but it has so much going for it – especially the fact it doesn't descend into repetitiveness and has an interesting story to tell – that it would be shame if you missed it.

Those without a network adapter are left in the dark as Project: Snowblind unfortunately contains no split screen multiplayer.

It’s got a sense of fun, a main character that can be outfitted in a bikini, lots of swordplay, a chance to bend the laws of Nature in really big ships, and playability that’s easy to pick-up.

Unfortunately, there's no online support, but SWON is packed with enough diverse gameplay with a heavy challenge level that you won't lament the online absence too long.

Despite its few technical faults, Chibi-Robo is a deviously charming little game, with an addicting quality that makes it hard to put down.

It’s got a great setting, suitable music, familiar characters, and enough challenge for the stoutest player. However, if you’re easily frustrated you may want to think before making this purchase.

A very good real-time strategy game and the best that has featured the Star Wars franchise (regardless of what I said about Galactic Battlegrounds).
