The Banner Saga 2 offers the same gameplay mechanics as its first installment, but with some remarkable improvements. It is a good game, but it does not achieve the greatness of its predecessor.

Suikoden I & II HD Remaster does a nice job at remastering two classic entries that were once absolute references in the JRPG genre. There are a bunch of improvements, such as the noticeable increase in battle speed as well as the ability to easily enable the auto-battle mode. However, the UI still lacks elements to actually make this feel like a revolutionary step-up when it comes to user experience.

Obliteracers is especially fun on cooperative mode, although we would have liked to see more content. Speaking about the online mode, there weren’t enough players in order to play a complete match. However, it has several innovations in the arcade racing genre.

Black Clover: Quartet Knights is a fun, dynamic experience provided by Bandai Namco. Despite the fact that it is obviously aimed towards the anime and manga fan base, players looking for a challenge in online gameplay should also give a try to this solid fighting game.

The famous fighting saga returns with a renewed aspect and brings back the gameplay mechanics that made these games great. The King of Fighters XIV is a very entertaining game for the fans of the genre, even though the graphics could be better on the PlayStation 4.

Steel Seed is a competent and polished game that demonstrates Storm in a Teacup's growing ambitions. Its stealth mechanics, art direction, and precision of its basic controls showcase a studio that is increasingly mastering its craft. However, its excessive adherence to formulas established by major studios limits its potential to truly stand out. I enjoyed my time with Steel Seed despite its limitations. Its lack of originality may be its greatest weakness, but it also makes it an accessible and familiar experience for fans of the genre.

Code Vein II is a clear improvement over the original, with an incredibly ambitious open world and powerful storytelling influenced by Demon Slayer's global success. However, technical limitations and a map that's sometimes more confusing than helpful curb its full impact.
