In its current state, Greedy Dwarf is a fun game which will leave players hoping for future updates. The sharp sound design and short levels are great for quick, focused bursts of gaming, and the twisting gameplay helps set it apart from other, similar titles.

It’s an odd approach, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a lot of fun with this game.

Glorkian Warrior is irritating but is strangely satisfying to play at the same time.

Rise of the Tomb Raider isn't setting a tremendous new bar for all of action video games to follow, as much of this game stems from things we've done before, but it's still a neat little adventure buried in the God-forsaken wilderness.

Joe Danger Infinity is perhaps one of my favorite kids iPhone games that I’ve played so far. It’s got a lot of action, a cute little score and some sweet graphics to boot.

Steampunk Tower may be a bit too easy for its own good, especially since Tesla infused guns have a way of electrifying everything in sight. Still it’s an arresting enough app to overlook that minor shortcoming.

Overall, The Rivers of Alice is a beautifully made adventure title that is ham-stringed by the lack of logic that plagues a lot of adventure titles.

Yooka-Laylee is a lot of goofy fun wrapped in a light and colorful retro package, a fine return to the platformers of old.

Poker Night 2 for iOS is a great looking game that runs well, packs in all of the great conversations and music from the console version (the jazzy version of Borderlands 2′s theme, Short Change Hero, is amazing), and delivers an addictive experience that you can take on the go.

It’s all do-able, for sure. But you really have to be ready to get your grind on in order to progress without paying money for coins. Fortunately, SlamBots offers a fun grind.

An intriguing trip into the unknown, simian.interface is a puzzler filled with delicious colors, sounds, and three dimensional shapes. Brain twisters come in all shapes and sizes, and this app will stay on my mind, at least until the next batch of simians come along.

Bloodmasque may not be a perfect game, but its fast combat, (mostly) appropriately-priced upgrades, and minimally-intrusive social networking all mesh together to create a tasty action game for any wannabe vampire hunter.

There’s a real satisfying feeling of the game getting more complex the further you get.

I could not be happier with the direction Ubisoft took with Watch Dogs 2, casting off the serious tone of the first game and replacing it with bright colors, fun characters, and light humor. Combat is pretty boring, but the multiple hacking options almost making shooting obsolete in the right hands.

If you’re a fan of visual puzzles you’d be remiss to pass up Help Me Fly. It’s a unique, fun little game that comes at a budget price with no secret agenda; all it wants is for you to have fun solving puzzles and helping planes take off.

All in all, Zombie Typomaniac is a solid title. The typing can get a bit tiring and cumbersome, and you’ll likely long for the satisfying clack of a real keyboard, but the gameplay is fun and unusual, and features America’s favorite hobby — zombie killing!

Project CARS infuses its universe with hours of addictive gameplay that simply never lets up. Impatient players may be turned off by its high difficulty level (even setting the game to "novice" doesn't make your life any easier), but to paraphrase a Rolling Stone song, time is definitely on their side.

Despite feeling rather hurried, "A Nest of Vipers" brings the adventure to a head.

I will devote more hours to winning more trophies and filling my garage with cars I can only dream of owning, and for seven bucks it’s a fantasy I can finally afford.

It’s not quite as tightly wrought as as the intro, but “Lost Lords” does set up some interesting possibilities for the future.
