There are worse things you can do with your money, and whenever a first rate app hits the store, paying for a few premiums is a more than worthy Faustian bargain.- Arcade Sushi

There are still some small annoyances preventing Lego Marvel's Avengers from being an outstanding game, but TT Games has shown it still has some magic up its sleeve to keep improving upon its long-running franchise.- Arcade Sushi

The Sims 4: City Living is an excellent addition to the core, and possibly the best apartment-themed expansion in series history. It’s also the best add-on The Sims 4 has produced yet. Many of its ideas are recycled from previous iterations, but what’s new takes the series forward in interesting ways.- Arcade Sushi

Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, weird name and all, is a fantastic fighter that does an incredible job of teaching new players the ropes while keeping things interesting for the normal crowd. I love fighters that take this approach, as it can only mean more people playing fighters and my favorite genre can continue to grow and blossom.- Arcade Sushi

Similar to its story, DmC's remastered version of Dante embraces the things Ninja Theory's kept and changed from the old Devil May Cry formula, making the unification of heaven and hell as fun as it gets in the land of Limbo.- Arcade Sushi

Those looking for a more advanced shooter experience on Wii U have it now, but it's not so advanced that younger players won't be able to jump in, too. Splatoon is the shooter for everyone, and everyone will have a blast in Inkopolis.- Arcade Sushi

A melange of tabletop gaming with hardcore turn-based thinking, set amidst an ever evolve RPG infused world, should have been one hot mess. Instead, Pox Nora shows that life is more than a set of randomized cards. Every step you take, even within Pox Nora’s fantastical confines, makes all the difference.- Arcade Sushi

Not everyone is going to enjoy Surgeon Simulator’s comedically clunky gameplay. For those with a bit of patience, you’ll get a game that will make you laugh, groan and repeatedly murder your patients in a variety of malpractice-y ways.- Arcade Sushi

So while it’s not an immaculate game, it still provides a great experience and is definitely worth a $4 price tag to play such an engaging and fun role-playing game. Those on the wall about Across Age 2 might want to give it some time and see how its issues get resolved in the long run before trying to step into this DeLorean of an RPG.- Arcade Sushi

Acting as both sequel and remake through the use of Grandpa Graham's reminiscing, "A Knight to Remember" offers a fresh take on a classic franchise with some profound production quality. Unfortunately, King's Quest's gameplay isn't as spot-on as it should be, especially when compared to its contemporaries in the adventure game format.- Arcade Sushi

A really great shooter for the iOS that expands the offerings in the App Store. It’s fun, exciting, and handles great. But, it lacks its own identity and much of the time, you might find yourself craving after your console and the disc for another video game that has already been out for quite a while.- Arcade Sushi

Ultimately, Paint It Back is a traditional, brain-teasing puzzler that most people can enjoy. It’s simple enough that even children can figure it out on the lowest levels, but can be varied and expanded upon to the point where you need a genius to solve it.- Arcade Sushi

It may resemble a boxing match between Optimus Prime and Godzilla, but so what? Robots fighting monsters is a pretty big deal for any video game, especially when it’s done right. There’s nothing too fancy about this title, but that doesn’t detract from its overall effectiveness.- Arcade Sushi

With three different worlds as well as the ability to unlock survival mode, Clash of Puppets definitely offers up your money’s worth. The absolute lack of in-app purchases are also a huge plus, and it’s great to see a developer put gaming first over creating a manipulative, cash grabbing app.- Arcade Sushi
