If you enjoyed Plants vs. Zombies, then Pro Zombie Soccer is a close second. It just needs a dash of movable play to give it what it lacks in terms of gameplay.

The control system has been copied over too many times to count, and even the stellar graphics can't save the iPhone app from feeling a little tired by the end of an hour or so of playtime.

The game play is fun but after awhile it's all just rinse and repeat. Fortunately enough the game isn't short.

Ultimately it's about dispatching units as fast as you can and a mass of units pretty much always results in a win. I have to say that the AI is good and makes the battles fairly even and makes a win possible.

The concept is a sort of admission of the indubitable existence of intelligent life forms in the universe. Otherwise, I would not have even given the game a second thought.

Who says cheap simple games have to suck? Robosockets is definitely an app I would recommend someone looking to kill some time and had some spare change.

If it weren't so buggy, we'd have given it a much higher score, and it would be at the top of our list of favorite games. In the meantime, FD will sometimes simply refuse to start, and will often crash to the home screen for no apparent reason.

All in all Poker Pals is a great, light iOS app that is a worthy purchase if you have plenty of friends who enjoy similar gameplay types. Just don't expect a real brain teaser.

Overall, I think Cardboard Castle is an amusing game for what it is. If you like trial and error type of games, funny visual effects, and something with a storybook charm, I suggest getting this app which at $0.99 is reasonably priced.

The drawback is that if you lose, you have to start at the first wave again. I think Breakeroids is an enjoyable quick-play style iPhone game that tries to bring back the charm of its classic predecessors.

Enjoyable, but it takes a long time to get into. Although the graphics are cute and attractive, the story falls very flat, and the action just drags while you're struggling to get the hang of the controls.

The arcade game has more variety and you can play as Marge, Bart, and Lisa, in addition to Homer.

I won't deny that Bop It has a very clean user and kid-friendly interface, and it can be fun, if rather hyperactive, but the overall experience is undeniably awkward on the iPhone and it's a far cry from the toy's humble, molded plastic origins.

The thing which really bugged me was the misalignment of the compass controls.

Madden NFL 12 for iPhone is a good, but not perfect mobile version of the gridiron giant. While it may not replace the console version for hardcore fans, it's definitely a great way to get that quick Madden fix at the office or between classes.

Eternal Legacy reaches for the stars and, while coming close, is hampered by the difficulty, sound and script. If Gameloft can improve upon these factors for a sequel on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch , they will have a definite hit on their hands.

Overall, the game has a lot of new material, and has potential to be good, although it is super annoying having to deal with that red arrow. Until they remove that my advice is to stay clear and go with the original.

In my case, I really couldn't stand the talking fruit, and I initially thought the game was too simple to really be good, but then I COULDN'T STOP PLAYING.

After a long time with Inotia 3, I can honestly say that it was very forgettable. The game is just not that interesting beyond the graphics. I really can't recommend such an average yet pricey game.

An original RPG game that has a ton of potential, and worth checking out. Hopefully the developers continue to release updates and improvements to the game. There is talk of them also creating an online version of the game which should be interesting.

Because the app only features 12 short stages, players are sure to finish it very quickly.

Story mode was also much shorter than I expected, but Survival, Puzzle, and something called Gauntlet mode help to up the replay value a bit, as well as Game Center integration.

It would be great if Biscuit Games would add more features to make it feel like I am in a colosseum. They can do this by including boss monsters on every five or ten levels and maybe include a way to judge your performance such as spectators throwing tomatoes at you if you are doing poorly or helpful items if you are doing a great job.

All in all, I enjoy the simple game at the heart of Dice Tower. I'm not sure if the additional scoring rules are necessary, but other players may enjoy the added challenge and strategy. In a way, it can be as easy or as difficult as the player wants.
