However, an aspiring game programmer, working in a different part of the company, loved Candy Train and thought it would be a great game for iPhones, iPod touches and iPads and so she started working in her free time to create a new version specifically, for these devices. She poured equal amounts of sweat, tears and love into this iOS adaptation of Candy Train and we think it's great enough to share with the world.And, by the way, the powers-that-be were so impressed that Sophia now works as a game programmer in PopCap's game studio! We hope you enjoy this second release from 4th & Battery….---Sweet, glorious candy is popping up everywhere. Don’t ask us how it happens! The best part? You’re a conductor on a train that collects it. But whoever built the train track didn’t get hugs when he was little, or failed basic engineering. So it’s up to you to simultaneously drive the train while piecing the track together and collecting the candy. If you can’t clear a path for your train in time, your train will come to a sad, sugar-coated demise. Time is running out. What do you do? What. Do. You.     For a simple puzzle game, it doesn't get much better than this. The graphics are both bright and colorful, and as expected, gameplay is a ton of fun.

    It's a simple diversion, but like most PopCap offerings, it's one that can be hard to put down. There's nothing really spell-binding or new here (after all, we're talking about a port of a 8 year old Flash game), but Candy Train proves to be a pretty great little distraction for those with quick fingers and a few minutes to kill.

    In general, I found Candy Train to be pleasant and certainly a very good deal for the price, but it's not a super-exciting game and while not entirely dull, it's not going to keep you occupied for more than a few minutes here and there.
