Iron Man 3 – The Official Game (Free, Universal) delivers a great feel for playing as Iron Man, but that wears off after a few redundant flights. The base gameplay just doesn’t do enough to make you care to keep going to reach the minimal story elements, and new environments.- Apple'N'Apps

Sherlock: Interactive Adventure is a neat idea to expand upon the basic book, but it goes too far leaving the story tedious to get through making it one to skip.- Apple'N'Apps

Robot Unicorn Attack 2 (Free, Universal) is bursting at the seams with personality, and unlockables, but it’s the gameplay that comes up short.- Apple'N'Apps

Slayin ($0.99, Universal) is a neat little distraction that provides action packed gameplay, and a great retro style. The biggest problem is that you have to grind through so much to get to some features that you would think should be standard.- Apple'N'Apps

Cloud Spin could have soared, but instead it falls flat with rudimentary gameplay, imprecise controls, and an overall waste of potential making it one to fly past.- Apple'N'Apps

Daddy Was A Thief ($1.99, Universal) is a highly polished change of pace that is fun at first, but that doesn’t last very long leaving it worth skipping.- Apple'N'Apps

Looney Tunes Dash! isn’t particularly bad, but it’s unremarkable with nothing that’s specifically good, making it one to skip as it stumbles on the gameplay execution.- Apple'N'Apps

Galcon 2 has a great pedigree, but just doesn’t bring much new beyond an online system that isn’t catered to multiple skill levels making it sadly one to skip.- Apple'N'Apps

Bladeslinger looks so promising, but never taps into its potential. It’s one of the best looking games in the App Store, but the gameplay is rudimentary at best with other restrictions sprinkled in, sadly making it one to skip.- Apple'N'Apps

Help My Fly doesn’t fly with the best brain teasing puzzle games in the App Store, and instead relies too heavily on a bland familiar mechanic.- Apple'N'Apps

Hex:99 is well put together for a burst of short term fun, but it just falls into all of the other endless games making it worth considering depending on how much you still enjoy the genre.- Apple'N'Apps

Gravity Guy 2 ($0.99, Universal) offers less than the original, and subpar gameplay to boot making it one to just run right past. As the old saying goes, don’t mess with success, and with that in mind your best bet is to pick up the original Gravity Guy ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone) / ($1.99 -> Free, iPad) as it has dropped to free in honor of the sequel.- Apple'N'Apps

Civilization Revolution 2 just doesn’t live up to the price tag for fans of the series as it doesn’t add much at all. It’s also not that appealing for newcomers as it falls off the tight rope of in depth strategy, and accessibility making it one to skip.- Apple'N'Apps

Happy Hills 2 is just like the original, which doesn’t mesh with the standards of the App Store in 2013. It’s a bland experience in most regards making it one to avoid, so that it doesn’t blow up in your face.- Apple'N'Apps

Major Magnet doesn’t get out of its own way, and feels like just another also ran in the genre despite the neat theme, potential for speed, and high quality design. It’s also worth noting that although the game is set-up for speed, and flow the level design just doesn’t lend itself for either.- Apple'N'Apps
