Deep Loot is a surprisingly shallow game with a repetitive set-up that lacks any challenge, and pushes all of the advancement to the costly upgrades.- Apple'N'Apps

Assassin’s Creed Pirates has no wind in its sails making it one to skip despite the high profile nature. There’s a big name, deluxe graphical design, but extremely simplistic and repetitive gameplay, which sinks this ship.- Apple'N'Apps

Nitro (Free, Universal) looks promising, but just isn’t firing on all cylinders leaving you with a relatively bland experience that misses the essence of what racing is all about. There just isn’t much action going on, and every single race blends together into a monotonous drive. Nitro is one to skip as it just doesn’t deliver its namesake.- Apple'N'Apps

The Other Brothers ($0.99, Universal) looks promising, but just doesn’t feel ready for primetime leaving a game that has more problems than highlights. Updates are planned, and we will reevaluate the game accordingly, but for now it seems the developers released a beta on the App Store that is worth skipping at the moment.- Apple'N'Apps

Looty Dungeon is a well put together game, it’s just lacking in terms of gameplay, and there are simply more enjoyable ways to spend your time on iOS than with an overly simplified bland experience.- Apple'N'Apps

Grim Fandango Remastered delivers a grand scale adventure with a great story with modern design prowess. The problem is that the gameplay just has no rhyme or reason to logical progression making it one to skip for the premium price point.- Apple'N'Apps

LEGO Star Wars: Microfighters is a run of the mill iOS game that has a well known name, and a generic gaming offering making it one to skip. The more you are a fan of Legos, Star Wars, or shoot ‘em ups, the more disappointing this title is. If you’re interested in the style, be sure to check out Plasma Sky instead.- Apple'N'Apps

Bloodstroke is promising on the surface, but is much too shallow to recommend making it one to skip as it never evolves beyond the mindless simplicities. In the end, it’s a simplified version of Samurai II, which is a much better game to pick-up.- Apple'N'Apps
