Magnetic Baby is a real delight to play. The cartoon graphics suit it perfectly as the game serves up its own share of frustration and delight.

Die hard CAVE fans will have no doubt already picked the game up as soon as they saw it arrive on the App Store. For anyone else interested in horizontal shooters with huge boss characters and cute, anime style Angels, Deathsmiles is Bullet Hell from heaven.

Red Bull Kart Fighter is a game that takes an hour or two to really get to grips with, quite literally! Don't be put off by the initial difficulties, because once you have overcome them, the experience is enjoyable and starts to become heaps of fun.

While other racers, or even a ghost car of your last lap, would improve the game, the thrill of building the best car and testing it out is enough to warrant a purchase.

I think this is easily the best football/soccer app you can get at the moment.

You will find this game enjoyable if you are a fan of Two Worlds or you have never played this type of genre. If you have played tower defence games before, you may be disappointed to see another version hit the App Store.

With a recently added multiplayer mode that pits you against a friend in one of five worlds, killing bugs for gems, which then can be used to unleash a swarm of bugs against your enemy and Game Center support to compare scores and achievements, Mushihimesama Bug Panic has everything you need to appease your shooter needs and is different enough from the other twin stick shooters out there to warrant getting stuck in to the bug squashing action.

Just not as good as we'd expected it to be. Less than meets the eye, you might say.

Order & Chaos Online is an impressive and immersive MMO that Gameloft have somehow managed to squeeze on to a tiny iOS device. Its popularity is testament to the game's ability to bring a fully fledged online adventure successfully on to Apple's platform.

What Sega have done here is amazing. They've certainly created the best kart racer on the App Store by far and Sonic & Sega All-stars Racing is truly a fitting gift for Sonic's 20th Anniversary.

If you're looking for a nice pick-up 'n' play game for your iPod, this is definitely it. Besides the small gripes with the weapon swiping, this game is one of my favourites.

The occasional 'scary' moments add some tense atmosphere, which the game really relies on. It's worth getting, as it will last a few hours.

With a harder (some may say more unfair) difficulty level and some interesting new ideas, Spider Jack succeeds in being more than just another clone of a popular game. If you're after a challenge and you can forgive some of the design flaws, the game is well worth the entry fee.

It's certainly one of the best looking sports games on iOS and well worth investing some time in. I only wish NaturalMotion would work on providing a full match version of the sport with proper team against team play.

But as a self confessed Back To The Future fan, this episode has been a great ride through some slightly unfamiliar territory. The ending might leave you wanting Episode 4 in a hurry, however. As usual, it's a must for ipad owning fans of the movies.

Par Out Golf is the perfect answer to creating a golf game with a difference. It manages to mix genres while being easily accessible to everyone and containing enough of a challenge for long term gamers at the same time.

Back To The Future Episode 2 is an essential purchase for fans of the movies and, of course, the first episode. It has the same strengths and, particularly for first generation iPad owners, the same weaknesses too.

While Smurfs' Village isn't a game for everyone and involves a fair amount of patience, if you're a Smurfs fan or fond of games such as Farmville then you should really check it out. Be warned, though. Once you get into the game, it can be pretty addictive.

While I don't want to appear too harsh a critic for a small game such as this, I feel that the idea itself is too limited to create a whole game from. With a bit of deviation in theme, by having weapons for both the savage and the guards, power ups, different play areas with obstacles etc, the game could actually turn out to be a worthy addition to your App collection, but as it stands King's Orders is far too basic to sustain any long term interest.

Far from being another throw-away licence, then, Fast Five takes the best bits of the movie and the best of other racing games and creates something unique and fun. Aside from a few presentation issues, this turns out to be Gameloft's best racer yet.

While the main campaign is over too quickly, the amount of fun to be had in the other modes and the mix of great controls and humour help to make Laser Dolphin a stand out title in a sea of App Store action games.

Overall, the scope of Atari's Greatest Hits is amazing. It's certainly the best emulator on the App Store for content and presentation. If there were more control options or a modified version for the 2600 games then the package would be perfect.

Coin Drop is our new favourite action puzzle game and I can see this game taking pride of place on my iPad for a long time to come. It has just the right level of giddy day-glo presentation, coupled with a great physics engine and addictive gameplay.

Back To the Future is a sacred franchise to many fans, Telltale have done well to stay true to the world of Doc and Marty without too much in the way of deviation. While re-creating their universe, Back To the Future Episode 1 produces a great story and some fun puzzles to solve.

The music is amazing in creating an atmosphere for the game, the pixel graphics add a unique artistic level of flair, both simple and complex at the same time, and the experience as a whole is one that every iPad owner should try for themselves.
