Galaxy On Fire 2 is a game that pushes the format further than ever before. Only the slight control issues and a few odd manoeuvres from the auto-pilot prevent this from becoming a classic.- AppGamer

If you're a fan of the series or just fancy a great Basketball game with a sense of humour, then NBA Jam scores a 3 pointer. It's Boomshakalakin'.- AppGamer

Another instant hit from Firemint, who seem to be able to do no wrong. If you enjoy a good line drawing game then I recommend that you pick this up straight away.- AppGamer

With 44 levels, tons to do and some great graphics, this is so much more than a cheap port of a console game. LEGO Harry Potter is a great gaming experience and well worth your money.- AppGamer

Although Starfront is nothing new in terms of gameplay, it's certainly the best RTS the iPhone has ever seen and takes the strategy genre to a new height.- AppGamer

Delivers in spades. It reminds me of a more constrained Shadow of the Colossus, which is quite the compliment. For anyone who owns a 3rd or 4th generation iOS device this is an essential purchase.- AppGamer

It's just a shame that Rovio couldn't have found a way of bring more skill into the game. It's the only thing stopping it from being awesome.- AppGamer

While the lack of multiplayer is disappointing, FIFA 12 is still an impressive game in its own right. The updates from last year and attention to detail make this THE Football game on iOS.- AppGamer

The fact that this is a completely original story which happens to tie in to the second game helps to make it feel far more than just a rehash of a console game on the iPhone. Thanks to the graphical flare, a fantastic control scheme and atmospheric sound, the sum of Ironmonkey's efforts come together to create a stand-out survival horror experience second to none on iOS.- AppGamer

Origin8 have packed so many features in to this game and have really pushed for a more strategic approach that, even with the bulging numbers of Tower Defence games on the App Store, Sentinel 3 still stands tall as the leader of the pack.- AppGamer

For a game that relies on stats, Game Dev Story oozes charm and character. You will care about your company and its hard working employees, even when they fail you. It's this winning formula that will see you playing in to the small hours and possibly even laying awake at night, wondering just how you can make that one special game every developer dreams about.- AppGamer

A great ambassador for the new iPad, but even if you only own an iPhone 4 or an iPad 2 it's still well worth a purchase. It's by far the best aerial combat game on iOS and should provide plenty of longevity thanks to the myriad of modes on offer once the campaign has been completed.- AppGamer

The music is amazing in creating an atmosphere for the game, the pixel graphics add a unique artistic level of flair, both simple and complex at the same time, and the experience as a whole is one that every iPad owner should try for themselves.- AppGamer

It is a great addition to the Angry Birds universe, giving you more of what you had before whilst feeling fresh enough to warrant the small expenditure. And the best part is this: There's not a bloody Jar Jar Binks in sight. Splendid.- AppGamer

The game is far from perfect, particularly with the at times bland visuals and amateur looking character design, but these aesthetic qualms are too superficial for us not to whole heartedly recommend the game.- AppGamer

With two different difficulty settings and Crystal support there's plenty of re-play value when you've finished the game and only the slightly dodgy dialogue and bad humour stands in the way of making this a classic app.- AppGamer

Scribblenauts on iOS is as good, if not better than, the DS releases . With a low cost and some of the most flexible gameplay ever seen on Apple's devices, it's easy to recommend to both young and old gamers.- AppGamer

With a recently added multiplayer mode that pits you against a friend in one of five worlds, killing bugs for gems, which then can be used to unleash a swarm of bugs against your enemy and Game Center support to compare scores and achievements, Mushihimesama Bug Panic has everything you need to appease your shooter needs and is different enough from the other twin stick shooters out there to warrant getting stuck in to the bug squashing action.- AppGamer

I cannot recommend Tiny Heroes enough, its brilliant art work and gameplay is supreme in the tower defence genre. The only thing missing is a sound track, but it's odd that while playing this superb game won't miss a sound track at all.- AppGamer

Badland is a joy to watch, listen to and play. At times the gameplay may feel as if it's dragging you along with little control, but a split second's tap can also make all the difference between life and death and the journey is certainly worthwhile.- AppGamer

While the perfectly balanced scoring system encourages replays, it's really the presentation, effort and generally cute 60's vibe that makes Whale Trail stand out, alongside that instantly memorable soundtrack from Gruff Rhys. Whale Trail is a refreshing blast of multicoloured fun that will brighten up even the darkest day.- AppGamer
