Even in basic form, the game will appeal to younger fans but it's certainly best played with a portal at your side.- AppGamer

Amazing Spider-man is a surprisingly good attempt at bringing an open-world web-slinger game to iOS. While the game engine can't always handle the task without the occasional hiccup and controls aren't always responsive in the heat of battle, it still feels as if this is the game Spider-man fans have waited for.- AppGamer

For those who love mini tasks, collecting missions and don't mind a more casual take on adventure games with little in the way of taxing puzzles, The Island: Castaway will happily entertain you for hours. Those gamers looking for something with a little more challenge may find this game lacking. That said, the initial game is free and it's worth visiting the island at least once.- AppGamer

This is a title that focuses primarily on the fun inherent in the concept of possessing enemies. Whilst it most likely won't be appearing in the top 25 any time soon, it certainly is not one to dismiss instantly. For your money, you will be getting a hearty slice of retro-styled enjoyment of the kind that is not particularly prevalent anymore.- AppGamer

The level design encourages planning and more than just trial and error, the physics hit the spot and the graphics are well designed, but for anyone with an aversion for the hard sell within a game Jumpster doesn't do itself any favours. Retweet this!- AppGamer

The game leaves you with a feeling of mild disappointment and ultimately, the apathy felt throughout almost every aspect is what lets it down.- AppGamer

Only the slightly unreal feel of the physics themselves stand in the way of making this a perfect addition to the crop of physics puzzlers jostling for space on the App Store. It's still an enjoyable little game that's well worth picking up if you're interested by the idea of sticking pinball and physics puzzles together.- AppGamer

Even with its short run time, The Act is still easy to recommend as an excellent take on animated laserdisc games.- AppGamer

For a big Star Wars fan who also likes Tower Defence games it's still a good bet that you'll get some enjoyment out of this game, but I couldn't help feeling that there's a better use for the licence than this.- AppGamer

Overall, The Dark Knight Rises overcomes a few minor issues and provides fans with something worthy of the Batman name in a suitably shadowy Gotham playground.- AppGamer

Sprinkle Jr could have been a disaster, but removing the hazzards has actually made it a very enjoyable game that young players can really get a lot out of. With a fantastic physics engine, together with the great standard of graphics and audio, Mediocre has managed to create a bright and colourful playground for children.- AppGamer

Destructopus is a crazy concept that does a decent job at entertaining the masses with chaos and fire. What it doesn't do is keep the fire going, with many features left to be desired and the music annoying the tentacles out of me.- AppGamer

Dark Incursion is a great game but it is a little short, though what's there is fun to play. The controls work well which is a massive testament to a game of this sort, a lot of the run and gun style games fall flat on their faces because the controls are too complicated or just don't work.- AppGamer

With so many endless runners out there, Mini Ninjas doesn't feel like it does quite enough to stand out from the crowd, but the well designed graphics, use of different players and some nice power-ups still mean that it can be recommended to those fans looking for their next runner.- AppGamer

House of the Dead: Overkill - the Lost Reels is short but instantly playable. It's a very cut down version of a much loved game and doesn't offer much in the way of longevity, but with some clever controls and replayability thanks to the focus on score attack it's still worth a look for fans of lightgun games.- AppGamer

There are a lot of issues with Capcom's latest iOS fighter; framerate, controls and those ugly graphics, but the game is saved from total disappointment by just being what it is; a port of Marvel vs Capcom 2.- AppGamer

The lack of Multiplayer is disappointing, particularly in this day and age when Game Centre can take care of any match-making issues. This, coupled with the controls not quite living up to their potential, let the game down but MMA fans should still get a lot of enjoyment out of it.- AppGamer

Working around the controls is a hard feat although once you have completed all the levels that it has to offer, you do get used to them. That is if you can avoid throwing your iPhone across the room prior to the half way point!- AppGamer

It's fair to say those looking for the realistic game will want good physics and a challenge, the very things missing from Real Golf.. It may look the part when compared to Tiger Woods, but it just can't match the gameplay.- AppGamer

While Smurfs' Village isn't a game for everyone and involves a fair amount of patience, if you're a Smurfs fan or fond of games such as Farmville then you should really check it out. Be warned, though. Once you get into the game, it can be pretty addictive.- AppGamer

Ultimately, Zombie Crisis 3D is like a B-Movie; it lacks substance and style in the game but makes up for it in sheer unadulterated zombie-killing fun.- AppGamer

Rock(s) Rider has it's fair share of faults, mostly in setting levels which feel just the wrong side of unfair and having a camera which is zoomed in a little close. As with every other game in this genre, the physics isn't as good as it is in Redlynx's title by a long shot, the bike is often far too light to seem realistic.- AppGamer

The level design is interesting enough to make you think about how to get to the end of each level and the sketched comic book graphics which tell the story are very cute. It's just not enough to save the game from being just another generic platform game.- AppGamer

If you're a fan of the sport, can forgive a few control issues and don't mind that there are only basic defensive moves then NFL 2011 could be for you, but with Madden just around the corner it might find itself knocked off the top spot pretty soon.- AppGamer

PES 2012 is a fairly solid game of Football, there's nothing seriously broken about it, but considering it arrives alongside its nearest rival FIFA 12, comparisons are not kind to the game. A control system that doesn't allow for enough fine tuning and questionable AI mean that PES2012 should be sitting on the bench this year.- AppGamer

Shrek fans will lap this decent game licence up and probably forgive the odd control and camera issues in favour of the story and voice acting. Kids in particular will love this game, but for most of us older gamers the action will be over before the fat Ogre roars.- AppGamer

Six Guns is a solid game with great graphics and some nice handling, but it feels hollow and bare. With no story to tie the game together and a freemium model that is all too ready to prompt you towards the store, it ends up missing the target.- AppGamer
