If you're a big fan of score attack arcade games with big colourful graphics then Afterburner is your game. If you're looking for something a little deeper then look elsewhere.- AppGamer

So Aliens vs Predator: Evolution isn't perfect, but it is playable and pretty faithful to the franchise (bar using a facehugger as a helping hand on Alien missions). With decent graphics and 19 different levels, split between Predator and Alien sections, Evolution should give you a good run for your money.- AppGamer

It's not perfect, as the title might suggest, but certainly provides a fun, if short, challenge.- AppGamer

Chillingo's Superman doesn't live up to the lofty reputation of the man himself. It's playable, but nothing super.- AppGamer

For those who are looking for a challenge in a driving game and love the idea of big jumps and loops then this new version of Fumes Stunt Racer now comes highly recommended.- AppGamer

If you're seeking out a fantastic fighting game with precise controls and extremely deep gameplay then maybe you'd be better off with Street Fighter IV for the iOS. However, if you're a MK fan and want some of the brutal fun on-the-go, well EA have given me a million reason to recommend this as a brilliant option.- AppGamer

Breakout was a great game, I remember playing it when I was a little boy and loving it. It's just a shame that as the videogame industry have evolved, breakout hasn't. Compared to some of the games that have come out in recent years it just feels ancient.- AppGamer

Such a shame that they couldn't have done something with Paperboy, because all they have done is taken a game from the 80's, tried to put it on your iPhone and they've created a disappointingly awful throw away experience. This is one delivery I'd be happy to miss.- AppGamer

Just not as good as we'd expected it to be. Less than meets the eye, you might say.- AppGamer

The colours and look & feel of the game are fantastic, just for me it lacks a little bit in gameplay.- AppGamer

I really like what Fallen is trying to do. I like its premise and direction -- it's just that the game is let down in its execution.- AppGamer

Rayman 2 the Great Escape should stay on platforms akin to those for which it was intended, because this is essentially locking it back up behind bars to reminisce about sitting on the floor in front of the TV with a joypad in its magical floating hands.- AppGamer

With its simple approach to mimicking Borderlands on a console, the broken control system and lack of variety, Borderlands Legends feels like a missed opportunity and a bit of a cash-in, relying on the name alone to sell the game.- AppGamer

Ultimately this game is best avoided. Technical problems and lacklustre gameplay have ensured that Iron Man 2 may be Gameloft's biggest fall from grace to date.- AppGamer

While RIP Rally satisfies the basics of a twin stick shooter and does, at least, try to be a little different with the car theme, it simply falls down for being too drab and badly balanced. The handling and adverts just tip it over the 'do not buy' edge.- AppGamer

With poor controls and poor graphics I would be surprised if gamers kept this on their IOS device for more than a few hours, let alone pay to get in-game items.- AppGamer

With a multiplayer, bike customisation and a rethink of the boost system I could see Moto GP being a top racing title. As it stands it's still a fun arcade game for Moto GP fans, but offers little challenge or replay value once completed.- AppGamer

Unfortunately, the game only feels like it's partly there. There are huge chunks of missing potential for me, each of which would improve the game; penalties for not sticking to the track, a better AI and different handling over surfaces are just a few that I could name.- AppGamer

Clock Blocks is one of those games that, at the moment with travel chaos, can be a real time sink if you let it, with an addicting quick reset between deaths. Just don't expect a master piece of visual or sound.- AppGamer

With a few more modes and the ability to play from a particular level Cookie Rush could have been brilliant. As it stands it's a little too sweet and a little too short on features , but just like the cookie it's not bad for a five minute break.- AppGamer

If you enjoyed Dragon's Lair or Space Ace then Braindead 13 should be the next game on your list. It's quite similar in format and while not quite as good on the animation front, it makes up for this with a better control system and more freedom of choice.- AppGamer
