Wicked fun gameplay, and a stellar variety of excellently balanced units... Not as "all-around" as it hoped it would be and it's a bit of hardware hog, but it's still immensely fun.

Instead of investing time and energy into making demanding 3D graphics, the crew at FireGlow has concentrated on improving the gameplay by increasing the number of missions, units, and tactical possibilities.

Despite some of its drawbacks, however, Indigo Prophecy manages to captivate the player in every possible way. It's a very good game, but not an excellent one. A little more function to go with the gorgeous style and gripping narrative, and this would be a game for the ages.

Although the game suffers from various setbacks, it's still hella addictive and fun to play. Not to mention that the single-player campaign is HUGE, so you'll get hours and hours of fun from it.

The only downside here is that at some point the game may still feel like you're going through yet another generic loot fest, ultimately offering very little substance to those gamers who expect a richer story and a connection with the in-game characters.

I, personally liked the game, and I wasn't that bothered by not being able to save games (He's a lying bastard! He was bitching and moaning all the time - AT Ed).

FEAR 3 has a tendency to become rather enjoyable with its tough enemies, well-thought-out levels and a gripping horror style atmosphere. The developers also used an all-too familiar Alma-flavored pattern to weave together a proper storyline.

Obsidian obviously hasn't made any real breakthroughs, which is a bummer, really, seeing as the original brought quite a lot of fresh ideas to the RPG scene.

Instead of messing with the familiar basic gameplay mechanics, Creative Assembly decided to deliver as much fresh content as possible, which means you'll be busy with the game for quite some time. Each campaign provides a unique experience and we fully recommend the game to fans of the series.

The game flows beautifully and it is a joy to play. The game world is rich and detailed and backed up by some good narrative, excellent art design and sound work. The only real gripe I had with Syberia II is that it doesn't bother to hide the fact it's a niche product.

An immensely entertaining RTS experience. The combat is visceral, massive and fast-paced and the story is worthy of its great license.

The remake of the original 'Pirates!' certainly captures the free-flowing feel and the addictive nature of the original game. Man, hours do go by quickly when you're playing this one. In many ways, this IS the original game.

After playing Evil Islands and getting a bitch of a migraine because I stayed up in front of the PC for 48 long hours, I can safely conclude that Nival Interactive has developed one seriously addictive PC game. It can even be hazardous to your health, and it might have serious effects on your social life.

Players get frustrated, scared and upset, and it all feels very convincing because they also get outsmarted by an AI and there are few games that can make such a claim these days. Creative Assembly gets a huge plus for enhancing the fear factor in this one.

It offers an engaging and imaginative storyline, smooth gameplay and compelling environments for players to lose themselves in. Sure, Dreamfall might not have a lot of replay value, but at $40 bucks, it's definitely worth a purchase if you are a fan of adventure gaming.

A good deal, perhaps even better than Crysis. For $29.99 (which indeed is cheaper than a lot of releases today) it offers a compelling single-player ride (provided you're an "enthusiast"), new weapons and a satisfying and rather enjoyable multiplayer component.

What struck me as a bit disappointing is that even if you devote enough time to the sequel, you will be treated to a relatively short single-player campaign.

What I personally would've liked to have seen from DICE is even more creativity in terms of map design, game modes and player classes.

Fundamentally, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is a shooter with relatively familiar action game with standard cover-based mechanics. This shouldn't discourage your from giving it a try, because unlike a majority of shooters today, Future Soldier makes you scratch your head a bit before sending the Ghost Team into action.

For some reason though, it doesn't quite push the envelope in terms of gameplay and it does feel slightly less entertaining than, say, Ace Combat 6. It does, however, stand as one of the best-looking aerial combat games on the market and we do recommend you give it a whirl.

In a nutshell, when its 'gears' are clicking, Brothers in Arms manages to deepen the shooter genre with the addition of some great tactical gameplay and relatively realistic depiction of infantry warfare... [but] sadly lacked somewhat in the execution department, making it not as good as the reigning king of the genre.

In a nutshell, it's safe to say that with Stranglehold, you will be getting exactly what you paid for: over-the-top arcade action with a Hong Kong twist and trademark Woo choreography.

As rich, inspiring and epic as strategy games get, and (save for Blizzard's "Warcraft III") it's possibly the most immersive strategy game we have seen in quite some time... [Yet]the AI could've been better.

Again, the PC version itself is entertaining. Still, it would've been even better if the developers put in additional content - a bonus chapter, anything really.

It's a game with a lot of charm and personality. It doesn't bring anything particularly new to the table, but it still has more than enough attributes to impress.
