Despite its problems, then, Osmos is an ambient Katamari Damacy for the flOw generation, addictive and emotional and singularly satisfying.- AceGamez

I can't see many people disliking this classic gangster romp, which delivers the authentic mob feeling we've been after ever since "GTA III."- AceGamez

While Shadowgrounds might not win any big awards for originality, the nonstop action absolutely gets the adrenaline pumping throughout as it offers up a planet's worth of beasties to blow away.- AceGamez

I'm not exaggerating when I say that Flat Out's graphics are nothing short of outstanding, surpassing most other racers out there and with the detailed physics surrounding both the courses and the vehicles, the graphics gets a big thumbs up.- AceGamez

Except for the mildly annoying audio elements and certain segments of the story mode getting bogged down with too much uninteresting dialogue, Mario Tennis: Power Tour really is a game you have to nitpick at in order to find any weaknesses.- AceGamez

Competition has a natural tendency to breed innovation and excellence, and in this case the comparisons between Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare 2 are very welcome as they only server to emphasize how excellent both games are, and how, after all their efforts and exploits, DICE and B-Company are now comfortably relaxing in the V.I.P section of the FPS genre.- AceGamez

This Bleach is powerful stuff. It cuts through the grime of other games in the genre, washing away the competition without a second thought.- AceGamez

Konami have done a great job of making Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 on the PS2 a game that stands firm against the competition of its next-generation versions, and indeed is a cut above the rest in certain respects like the number of stadiums on offer.- AceGamez

There are a handful of games for the DS that you must own: Mario Kart DS, WarioWare: Touched, nintendogs, New Super Mario Bros., and a few others. LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures is up there with all of these, with its stylish and appealing graphics, great sense of humour, superb playability and amazing lifespan. Plus, there are very few games where you can discover Santa on a level and then, erm, break him into bits. Nice.- AceGamez

The dazzling looks, the sublime handling, plethora of online options and even the lengthy single player mode make for a game that can't be touched in its genre.- AceGamez

The missions are varied enough to keep you going and take advantage of what makes the game fun; if you like classic beat 'em up games like "Final Fight" or "Streets of Rage 2," then Ultimate Destruction is a game you can't pass up; mindless, destructive fun that has never been done better than this.- AceGamez

If you like lots of guns that feel the business, lots of demons who look the business, lots of tension, lots of suspense, a great plot that keeps you guessing and interested, and buckets and buckets of blood, then you'll probably love this.- AceGamez

With over 200 microgames at the helm and mulitplayer support for up to twelve players with only one Wiimote, this is by far the most complete WarioWare package yet. In fact, if Smooth Moves doesn't get you hot and sweaty like Wario's pitts on a humid summer's day then you clearly hate games, are a Daily Mail reader and/or Jack Thompson is your God.- AceGamez

Revenge isn't a huge leap forward for the series compared to the evolution between "Point of Impact" and "Takedown," but it is definitely an evolution for the franchise and once you play it you'll have a hard time going back to the old track designs.- AceGamez

As great as UFC 2009: Undisputed really is, it's hard not to look forward to the inevitable sequel. The fact that Yuke's has done such a great job with the fighting engine first time around bodes very well for the future, while minor improvements to the online and career mode are things that can surely be amended in next year's iteration.- AceGamez

Dead Space is a triumph in nearly every department; it may be a bereft of unique ideas in its core mechanics but this really is a brilliantly crafted slice of survival horror that stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the finest that the genre, and in many cases, even the industry has to offer.- AceGamez

Not only is Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure a classic original game (that's sure to become a franchise if it attains the success that it so rightfully deserves) but it's one that combines platforming and puzzling in an ingenious fashion, making it a real breath of fresh air in the stale atmosphere of endless casual game derivatives and shovelware that continues to plague the DS.- AceGamez

There's nothing truly groundbreaking (apart from Godzilla's feet) and there's plenty of room for improvement, but also very little to complain about and the astonishing level of destruction will most likely have you grinning like an imbecile throughout.- AceGamez

Fun, frantic, fresh, innovative, stylish and addictive, Left 4 Dead is a game that you will enjoy when playing alone and fall in love with when playing with friends. Even with all the minor and major issues I have with this game that aren't fixed for the umpteenth time, the core gameplay is very, very good and improves on the Here Comes The Pain engine in every way, bringing back all the match types (some with modifications) and the all new and great Parking Lot Brawl.- AceGamez

It's eye-candy from start to finish - sometimes you forget you're playing a game and feel like you're controlling the outcome of a blockbuster film instead. The boss battles are some of the best I've experienced, the graphics are some of the best I've seen, the musical score will make every game I review after this one pale in comparison and the unique gameplay will be something that I miss when I finally have to put this gem down.- AceGamez

Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is, all around, a stroke of genius. The dialogue is great, the storyline will pull you in and grab hold, the graphical presentation is simply phenomenal and the puzzles are a joy to solve, if a little easy and linear.- AceGamez

While the PS3 and 360 versions have a substantial aesthetic edge, the Tiger 10 Wiilease is easily the most realistic of the three, allowing players of all abilities to seamlessly enjoy a proper round of golf or a party game together, proof - if ever any was needed - that with some considered creative design, inclusion on the Wii doesn't need to involve dumbing everything down for the benefit of the lowest common denominator.- AceGamez

Only the issues of its periodically dodgy camera and short lifespan - along with the rock-paper-scissors-esque two player bug fighting game, which is frankly not much cop and not really worth a mention - even come close to bringing it down, and even with those minor faults, you really should make sure you pick up Daxter as soon as possible.- AceGamez

No matter what game genre you're most fond of, if you'd like to see a great game world that doesn't rely on the usual trappings found in RPGs, Steambot Chronicles is an absolute must - it cracks open the RPG mold by taking some familiar elements and running around outside the box, thumbing its nose at them all the way from beginning to end.- AceGamez
