The inclusion of challenge and Deathmatch modes greatly enhance the gameplay, while the two player spilt-screen mode is sheer class. Add to this the hidden four player Split-screen-Link-up mode and.... well, what are you waiting for?

Spanning four discs, this is a massive RPG. You can try and skate through it in 50 hours but can easily spend over a 100 hours playing if you decide to take on all of the side games, collect all of the Cards and experience all there is to experience from this game.

With drop dead graphics, haunting sound effects and non stop action it will leave you in a similar state last experienced with the original "Tomb Raider."

The one main thing this game has though is staying power. I often found myself throwing the controller in disgust and turning off the game only to be drawn back to it shortly afterwards.

The wealth of control and freedom of movement will make gamers wonder what took so long to implement something of this nature.

As with all RPG's, it's really all about the story and this is where Star Ocean really succeeds. Besides being an incredibly long game to play, it's also interesting and has characters that you want to root for and see victorious.

Pure, unadulterated, adrenaline pumping, arcade racing at it's best.

The wonderful hand-drawn graphics move and animate the best that I have ever seen in a 2D fighter and the action is non-stop.

The graphics are absolutely stunning, but lose a few points for a quirky frame rate and lack of spectacular lighting, but damn they sure are perdy!

It's a horrifying action/adventure that will set the pulse racing and put the mind on constant alert.

A wonderful game that manages to combine the action/mission based elements of "Goldeneye" with the military overtones of "MGS" into one slam blam package.

In gameplay terms Lara's latest adventures are by far the best... but don't expect an easy ride... I say if you can't stand the heat.... then get out of the jungle.

Yet another treat from Square. It manages to perfectly balance a unique blend of RPG and action all in the same game without losing its focus on exploration.

A wonderfully presented game that truly goes beyond anything you are likely to find in this genre for any system. The sheer brilliance in the level designs and gameplay are sure to keep you coming back for more.

I found the overall balance of the game to be much improved from its predecessor and the gameplay controls tweaked just right. I also liked the save anywhere at anytime feature.

The tense atmosphere and sense of urgency the game is able to generate is downright stunning. I often found myself gripping the controller so tight my knuckles would be turning white!

As an RPG there are very few characters in PE, however the lack of characters is more of a feature than a bug since it gives you a closer tie to the few main characters and more of a role in guiding their destiny.

The game rivets you to your seat with challenging gameplay, a thought provoking storyline and non-stop suspense as you sneak your way through level after level of action and intriguing twists.

While better than "Time Crisis" in many areas, it falls short in one very important area… longevity.

I would confidently say that this is the most in-depth and enjoyable racing experience ever created on and computer or videogame system.

A really top of the line shooter. I haven't had this much fun with a game of this type since "Nanotek Warriors". The graphics are gorgeous, the sound effects effective and the level design and missions a blast to play through.

A "better than arcade" overall game translation here that will truly stand the test of time and perhaps be the best fighter we will ever see released on the Playstation.

Great graphics and decent sound effects really make this game fun. With all those different modes, reasonable number of characters, 84 different costumes, and hundreds of moves, I don’t know how this game could get boring.

You get a stable of incredible cars, wonderfully designed tracks and immersive gameplay thanks to some of the best sound effects ever to grace a console racer.

After you get over this titles considerable learning curve, you can really begin to settle in and appreciate the game for what it is... a wonderfully crafted story!

In every conceivable category, this game outclasses and outshines its predecessor by a wide margin. Gotta love it.

A rather uninspired, but enjoyable enough experience. You will probably walk away feeling a real sense of accomplishment for solving the all of the puzzles, but the game itself will in all likelihood, not leave much of a lasting impression.

If you don't value your time to any great extent besides playing video games, give this gem a try. If it hooks you, it hooks you big time!
