The concept is interesting: Who doesn't want to see themselves in a cow costume with a sunflower hat and a guitar on your back throwing kicks that are as deadly as they are elegant? Unfortunately the execution of that concept is far less interesting.- 4P.de

You need brains and skills to lead the cute but deadly alien to freedom in this puzzle-rich stealth action. Warp might be a brief delight, but a delight it definitely is.- 4P.de

This is a good soccer game! But this is not a spectacular mobile version of FIFA 12, it is rather a variation of FIFA 11. It looks great, it plays more like arcade-soccer and offers less content than its big brother.- 4P.de

Overall you'll get a solid and entertaining beat-em-up experience, but if you plan to challenge your friends online, look somewhere else.- 4P.de

This new interpretation of old-school brawling action works well and doesn't rely just on its sheer amount of blood on the screen or the well executed comic-design.- 4P.de

Mysterious, poetical and full of atmosphere – Dear Esther is as magical as a short story from Ray Bradbury. The creative way of storytelling fascinated me from the very first moment.- 4P.de

The new submission system copies a page out of EAs MMA conceptbook, but it works well and adds depth to the already convincing fighting system that gives you loads of options to try and dominate your opponent, regardless where the fight takes place in the octagon.- 4P.de

It seems to me as if the developers didn't know where to go with this reboot of the turnbased tactics classic. It's nice to be back in Arulco but the gameplay experience lacks depth and direction, the action is superficial while the tactical options are shallow.- 4P.de

Game set and match EA? Not really. Loads of official licences are not enough to replace the lack of a decent challenge on the court. It's still better than Virtua Tennis 4 though.- 4P.de

Its biggest downfall is lack of useful content. With just five maps and three modes it's not enough to keep you playing for a longer period – even though the frantic action is quite entertaining. With better matchmaking and less focus on DLC the impostors would have a bigger survival chance.- 4P.de

So far I haven't seen an adventure where the puzzles were so plausible and seamlessly integrated into the main plot. Unfortunately character design and direction in general are far less perfect.- 4P.de

More Need for Speed, less FlatOut, more racing, less drifting. And it is simply one of the best looking racers in the AppStore. Unfortunately there is no local multiplayer while online play is still contaminated with lags.- 4P.de

If you hated its predecessor you will surely not warm up to this sequel. On the other hand Serah and Noel do a lot better than Lightning and her friends in Final Fantasy XIII. Here's more to do, more to discover, more roleplaying.- 4P.de

This is one of the most atmospheric games I have played on the iPad so far, even though this isn't a RPG with dialogues, quests or plot but a simple turnbased game of dice against the clock that`s based on luck as well as rudimentary tactics.- 4P.de

The dynamic duo goes for the gold in almost 60 disciplines, but most of them are so irrelevant that the main challenge is to keep yourself motivated.- 4P.de

The constant change between fiction and reality, the Darkness' dirty illusions and Jackie's inevitable descent into madness make this shooter very special. But you have to ignore the AI problems and the barely average action mechanics for which Digital Extremes is well known.- 4P.de

Compared to masterful strategy like Total War the medieval realtime battles lack detail, challenge and tactical depth. But King Arthur is saved by its atmospheric roleplaying part that reflects the darkness, insecurity and quest for meaning in the post-roman era.- 4P.de

The bold mix of mature themed story-adventure and motivating puzzles works surprisingly well and glues you to the pad. If you're looking for something out of the ordinary you should give Catherine a chance. Most likely you will fall in love with her.- 4P.de

Don't be fooled: If you pit Kingdoms of Amalur against Skyrim, Reckoning will be pulverized – Bethesda's roleplaying epic is superior in every aspect. But as a hack-and-slay in an expansive world with entertaining fights and more loot that you can carry Amalur stands out. It is exactly what I've been waiting for since the good old days of Champions of Norrath or Dungeons & Dragons Heroes – even though the inventory system lacks usability.- 4P.de

The imaginative artdesign with its paperfolding antics feels fresh. Unfortunately you can't say the same for Paper Monsters' core mechanics with its simple jump-&-run gameplay that you've seen a million times.- 4P.de

The tale of the immortal demon hunter is far from fresh and presented mostly uninspired, but the dismemberment concept works remarkably well, although it just scratches on the surface of its potential - a problem shared by almost every aspect of the game. And how Rebellion managed to mess up the shooting mechanics is beyond me.- 4P.de

Amy impressively showcases how underdeveloped gaming generally is on an emotional level. But unfortunately the moments of frustration about the controls, the lengthy storytelling, frustrating AI and too much trial and error prevail.- 4P.de

Behind the comical façade hides a short and generic 2D-Jump&Run in the tradition of Bionic Commando. You fight, you jump and you swing with a continually growing array of tools but the unbalanced difficulty level drags you down time and again.- 4P.de

It's difficult not to draw parallels to Portal. You are a test subject in a unique environment interacting with your surroundings in a creative way. But here you are alone: There is no humor, no cynicsm, no cake lie, only partially frustrating puzzles thanks to the imprecise controls – nothing else.- 4P.de

I love Soul Calibur. Forever. And Ever. But this version not only unifies all downsides from the XBLA-version but also takes away multiplayer while adding hard to use menus as well as sluggish fight controls.- 4P.de

Haunt is a surprisingly solid Kinect spook, which uses the hardware in a clever and accurate way to pilot the player through a haunted mansion. Fights, puzzles and story deliver, although more of everything would be desirable.- 4P.de

The incredible presentation sums up all known UFO-stereotypes and is a treasure trove for trash fans. The game itself is far less spectacular albeit showing some interesting ideas. Plants vs. Zombies still reigns supreme, but Unstoppable Gorg delivers an exciting new look on the genre.- 4P.de

An instant classic. The brilliant mixture of Risk and Scrabble is as simple as it is motivating: You command troops on the battlefield, rage war with words and try to capture all territories. For merely 400 points every hobby tactician should give this cute letter warfare a chance.- 4P.de

Deponia is an incredibly funny, affectionately designed adventure. The tale of the underdog who simply refuses to give up makes you smile again and again. The tasks need brains as well as patience, but stay logical most of the time. An entertaining addition to the adventure genre.- 4P.de

Soul Calibur 5 won't offer many surprises. Obiviously Project Soul doesn't want to tackle a modern "Weapon Master" mode, the campaign is shallow as always (and cast with a bunch of unlikable characters). But the fighting system is still one of the best around, the presentation is excellent and the controls spot on.- 4P.de
