I have enjoyed exploring Sword of the Sea and its landscapes, aware that this sensory philosophy is what it aims to offer. However, its mechanics have potential that never quite come into their own.

If you're looking for a soulslike game like in the old days, without online features or open worlds, demanding and beautiful... if you're only going to play one title of the genre this year, make it Wuchang. [Recommended]

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 doesn’t take risks — and it doesn’t have to. It sticks to the winning formula of the previous remake and takes it further with new levels, skaters, fan-favorite nods, and cool additions like New Game+. It’s pure arcade fun. [Recommended]

Bravely Default is a special JRPG. Its first hours are amazings because it feels like the classics Final Fantasy, but after that, the game starts a boring loop that ruins the experience. It's still being a recommended RPG because the art style and, specially, its turn based combat are great, but you need to open your mind and accept its faults. [Recommended]

Is good to see again the best Level 5 with one of its most popular sagas. Fantasy Life i is a great video game with tons of funny content. [Recommended]

Rematch is very fun, especially with friends. Its major problems are outside the matches: the lack of crossplay, server issues, a certain feeling of F2P mobile games... being a premium game, etc.

MindsEye isn’t ruined by bugs, but its outdated ideas and poor gameplay hold it back. At least its cinematics provide an interesting visual glimpse. [No Recommended]

Mario Kart Worlds is a fantastic evolution of Mario Kart's DNA. The open world works perfectly with the traditional and chaotic races, and it has one of the best circuit designs and OST in Mario Kart's saga.

Tainted Grail pays homage to Skyrim without merely imitating it, offering a deep and immersive dark fantasy RPG. An ambitious project that every fan of the genre should try. [Recommended]

F1 25 is better than its predecessor, sure, but Codemasters needs to step up their game. The My Team Career Mode shines, but Braking Point 3 features a very weak story, F1 World feels abandoned, and there’s a lack of meaningful new content. It’s fun and accessible, but also conservative.

The bravest Nintendo has shrugged off the easy sell of another Super Mario to embrace an adventure that smacks of plumberdom but has a completely different flavor. Donkey Kong and Pauline become a fun and endearing duo that demonstrates the potential of Switch 2 and shows us that taking other paths can also be successful. [Recommended]

Ultimately, Death Stranding 2 is a good video game, even recommendable, but for me, it's not as good as Death Stranding, and that's what pains me the most. And, while I celebrate Kojima's authorship and courage, and I liked the game as a whole, in terms of narrative, which for me is always where the author excels, I struggled to connect with it as I did with the first one. Days Gone Remastered presents a clear and noticeable visual improvement over the original, with enhanced lighting, textures, and draw distance—though it’s hard to shake off a lingering sense of déjà vu.

MotoGP 25 doesn't meet expectations. The new disciplines—Motard, Flat Track, and Minibikes—don't add much value, the Career mode remains stagnant, and the AI continues to frustrate.

Steel Seed doesn’t aim to revolutionize the genre, but it succeeds by offering a simple and enjoyable adventure. It’s a modest offering, yes—but one of those quiet releases that can still give you a genuinely good time.

Elden Ring: Nightreign is a much needed medium-sized experiment set in Hidetaka Miyazaki's iconic fantasy world. It does a pretty decent job at mixing together and shaking up a sizable collection of enemies, weapons, weapon arts, magicks and consumables. The resulting concoction is undoubtedly fun and addictive, although it also feels deprived of its original epic, immersion and overall thoughtfulness. [Recommended]

It is a rather uneven video game. Its move to Unreal Engine 5 lays the groundwork for the future of the series, but the impact isn’t as solid as promised. The physics are inconsistent, the controls need improvement, and the game modes are limited.
