Humankind is a worthy competitor to Civilization, with some fresh ideas that improve on the traditional 4X formula. It may be lacking in some systems, and others need more polishing, but the virtues of Humankind outweighs the negatives by much. It doesn't matter if you are a newcomer to the genre or a true Civ veteran, Humankind will leave you begging for one more turn on each and every game. [Recommended]

It's sad to see the PES franchise so far from what was unquestionably the peak of the series, its Pro Evolution Soccer 5 entry. PES 2011 is a heartbreaking step back from what we were hoping for.

A nice working mix of puzzles and action, with great rhythm and a varied formula. By focusing on the core themes of the first person shooter experience, Singularity is an excellent a quite surprising game.

A solid ending, a bit rushed, but beautifully written. It doesn’t manage to get away from the bite of the same old formula and technical issues, which tarnish the final result of the game.

A great tribute to Valkyrie Profile with the seal of Lab Zero Games. Great battle mechanics and superb character design, his long platform sections artificially lengthens the game.

EA Sports has good intentions with FC 26, based on the most repeated criticisms from the community in recent years. While everything is heading in the right direction in offline modes, beyond needing a few tweaks, Ultimate Team is doing the same with issues such as the progression curve, but it remains a tremendously demanding experience for the player. On the field, the sensations are very positive, with Hypermotion V already seeming to be well-oiled. [Recommended]

Tomodachi Life on Switch is the most batshit thing Nintendo has ever pulled off. A game that checks every box for being the most controversial, cancellable experience imaginable — and it comes from the most buttoned-up, straight-laced company in the industry. On a mission to drag out the humor lurking in the darkest corner of your brain, this social life sim manages to bring out the worst in all of us just to deliver the best: the hardest belly laugh you'll ever crack while playing a video game. The Last Guy is an excellent videogame that re-invents the PacMan style to take it to a much more up-to date design. Despite of its short duration - it can be finished in little more than 3 hours- is a challenging and funny game, and its proposal to use satellite images of real-world locations as maps is certainly innovative.

Up for some quick fun? Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville might be for you —it features a wide range of cool characters, nice graphics, and lots of small maps for chaotic, explosive teamplay. Just don’t expect anything deep or complex to play in a coordinated squad, cause there’s none of that in this game.

Super Crush KO is a fun and addictive experience in the 2D action genre. Fresh and casual, it invites you to play every time you switch on your console. It's short and bosses design could be better, but still it has some enjoyment in it.
