Its new gameplay elements and other additions like the multiplayer modes makes this one the most complete Assassin's Creed thus far. Brotherhood is an amazing follow-up to the sequel and an amazing way to conclude Ezio Auditore's adventures.

Left 4 Dead 2 is again one of the most intense, visceral and violent co-op shooters of this holiday season, but to be honest we were expecting some more additions. The game improves in every area its former game, but this is not enough to justify just 12 months of gap between the first and second iterations.

From Software achieves one of the most addictive games this year. Dark Souls' difficulty level can sound just as heavy as it is, but at the same time it's enough to keep you engaged to its addictive gaming experience.

Pokémon Pokopia is what happens when you let other creatives breathe new life into an increasingly worn-out formula. It's fresh, innovative and addictive, yet without losing the essence of what has been drawing millions of fans for years — and along the way, it manages to pull in those of us who got left behind. Ultimately, Death Stranding 2 is a good video game, even recommendable, but for me, it's not as good as Death Stranding, and that's what pains me the most. And, while I celebrate Kojima's authorship and courage, and I liked the game as a whole, in terms of narrative, which for me is always where the author excels, I struggled to connect with it as I did with the first one.
