Days Gone Remastered presents a clear and noticeable visual improvement over the original, with enhanced lighting, textures, and draw distance—though it’s hard to shake off a lingering sense of déjà vu.

SNK has found a way to showcase its decades-long legacy in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. With artistic direction full of personality and sublime, deep gameplay, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is on par with the greats.

MotoGP 25 doesn't meet expectations. The new disciplines—Motard, Flat Track, and Minibikes—don't add much value, the Career mode remains stagnant, and the AI continues to frustrate.

Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy works as a resurrection of a cult game, with a completely revamped and up-to-date technical section that, nevertheless, cannot completely hide its enormous simplicity.

In an era where live-service games dominate the landscape, Tempest Rising feels like a breath of fresh air for those seeking tight, self-contained matches filled with tension and critical decision-making. [Recommended]

Steel Seed doesn’t aim to revolutionize the genre, but it succeeds by offering a simple and enjoyable adventure. It’s a modest offering, yes—but one of those quiet releases that can still give you a genuinely good time.

Maliki: Poison of the Past is a nice and cute RPG with Japanese touches. It is better when its plots become a little darker.

Elden Ring: Nightreign is a much needed medium-sized experiment set in Hidetaka Miyazaki's iconic fantasy world. It does a pretty decent job at mixing together and shaking up a sizable collection of enemies, weapons, weapon arts, magicks and consumables. The resulting concoction is undoubtedly fun and addictive, although it also feels deprived of its original epic, immersion and overall thoughtfulness. [Recommended]

It's not a revolution, but an evolution. One of the most beautiful Assassin's Creed ever, and also one of the most enjoyables. [Recommended]

It is a rather uneven video game. Its move to Unreal Engine 5 lays the groundwork for the future of the series, but the impact isn’t as solid as promised. The physics are inconsistent, the controls need improvement, and the game modes are limited.

Doom: The Dark Ages arrives with all the brutality and spectacle you’d expect, but also with a desire to be different and leave its own mark. This isn’t just about improving on what came before, but experimenting and forging its own identity. [Recommended]

AI Limit doesn't revolutionize the genre, but it brings some interesting ideas that Souls-like fans might enjoy. Its combat has potential, though it's held back by technical issues, outdated design, and inconsistent worldbuilding.

PGA Tour 2K25 is a golf video game that shines where it truly matters: its gameplay is entertaining, and its simulation is well-executed. While it could use more game modes, MyCareer and the online experience offer hours of fun. [Recommended]

Two Point Museum continues the tradition of offering accessible and fun management games, but this time with a more multifaceted approach. Monster Hunter Wilds delivers superb action, customization, visuals and cutscenes and is certainly still king of its kind. It might however not please you if you're looking for an old-school hunting experience as this game leans much more into the newcomer side of the audience. There's handholding, a bit too much story going on and some monsters might feel underpowered against our ever-improving arsenal. Great game overall, hopefully it'll be better adjusted with TUs and a likely master rank expansion. [Recommended]
