The combat is fun, the graphics are excellent, and from a technical perspective it's a phenomenal feat.

Having a game that I can't play for X number of hours just drives me nuts, and if I'm going to spend money, I'd rather get a game that brings me constant enjoyment.

PvNvZvP is a bit of a polarizing game because even though it can be rather entertaining, it's also basically plagiarizing a more popular game.

At only 99c, it'd be silly not to buy RoboSockets. It offers a great new take on a tried and tested format. All I'd like to see added to it would be an Endless mode which would add some longevity to the title but a Time Attack mode goes some way to solving this.

Playing Tiny Wings, one just gets a feeling that this is a game that could be absolutely huge – from the ingenious unique gameplay to the charming protagonist and stunning visual style, all the elements for a smash hit are here.

The level design in the game is largely uninspired – there's very little challenge in the levels, and it's all largely flat, with few hazards.

Egg vs. Chicken is one of those rare gems that I have to encourage as many people as possible to buy. It's cute, it's easy to play and it entices you into playing for much much longer than you'd envisage. It could well be the next Plants vs. Zombies or Angry Birds. It certainly deserves to be.

Overall there's a lot of game here. Well made for those that like to sit down and play for hours or just play in quick bursts. If you enjoy strategy games, you'll enjoy Plants vs. Zombies.

The game is visually a treat when it isn't distracting and its individually separated level segments differentiate it from other endless platformers.

Control is spot-on, with a simple tap of the right or left thumb activating the game's flippers.

Without trying to sound too positive about the game, I am thrilled that someone is finally trying to break the dual stick genre out of its little box.

With some minor tweaks, upgrades, and bug-fixes, Parcel Panic could make everyone forget about the obvious Crazy Taxi comparisons. Until then, it is still a fun game, and is recommended to those who were patiently waiting for something like this on the iPhone.

While Parachute Ninja isn't an instant classic, it does have all the ingredients for it to jump into the top 10 of the App Store. The graphics are smooth and crisp, the gameplay is easy, yet can get hard at later levels, and the concept is simple enough to swallow all player types. The Story Mode on its own would be enough to garner high priase, but with the addition of the Survival Mode, Parachute Ninja really is a must buy.

Pac-Man CE is definitely an admirable effort, but there are enough caveats to make it lose a bit of its luster. The controls are responsive to a degree, but get questionable when things get too fast. The graphics are clean, but on the small side.

Here's hoping Pac-Man's 40th birthday is more satisfying, and that he doesn't end up growing a ponytail and buying a red sports car to overcompensate. That would just be sad.

I wouldn't count Dark Shrines out for the count quite yet, but unless it receives some much needed updates, it will be forgotten in a world of millions of apps fighting for the top spot.

If you've played Guerilla Bob and Minigore and are desperate for another dual stick shooter to sooth your nervous twitch, go ahead and pick this one up. It certainly won't disappoint, but it also won't wow you.

In all, what Cubed Rally Racer lacks in modern visual style, etc., it more than makes up for with quality, challenging, varied gameplay and quality retro elements nostalgic gamers will love.

Cross Fingers is a very serene and intelligent game, and feels like something you can only experience on the iPhone. It's a great puzzler, as well as a nice demonstration of what some multi-touch can offer.

My favorite iPhone game. Ever. If I wasn't such a civilized individual, this statement would be filled with expletives to help you understand how kick ass this game is. But you should just buy the game and insert your own expletives here.

Don't judge DOOM Resurrection simply because it's "on-rails." It's actually an incredibly engaging and fun game that was truly made specifically for the iPhone. Yes, at $9.99 it's a bit pricy, but that's a worthy price to pay for one of the iPhone's best games.

I really wanted to love Where's Waldo. The nostalgia factor is immense, and it's one of the best image-hunting games around. But it's crippled by so many technical flaws and poor decisions that I just can't immerse myself in it.

It's going to take a little bit of time for We Rule to get its server issues under control, but this game has become a solid keeper on my iPod. Anyone who has grown accustomed to the freemium platform will find this game to be a solid entry into the genre.

Voice Fantasy is a quirky oddity of a game but it's not really something that you'd return to after an initial infatuation.

The quaking camera and explosive graphics make it a real treat for the eyes, and the chaotic gameplay is very fun, as well. Even the audio is great-subtle, dramatic music coupled with good sound effects. Sadly, though, the technical issues along with the lack of replay value keep Warheads from its full potential.

Even with the relatively short gameplay, WackyLands Boss is well worth the $0.99 asking price. The level of polish alone is worth the price of admission, and getting to pound the heads of hundreds upon hundreds of little human soldiers just puts the game over the top.
