Immensely satisfying for fans of the genre.

A great game with responsive, simple controls and a fun atmosphere. There are some difficult spots due to the randomness of the levels, but this doesn't hinder the gameplay and adds to the life of the game.

Surprisingly, in the simplest of simple games, Berzerk Ball really does have a lot going for it. Its idea really isn't new or original, but the implementation of the simplistic game type is fantastic. This one deserves a thumbs up for sure.

It's inexpensive and it's fun. What more could you need? Flight Control has got some serious competition.

If you are unwavering in your quest for victory, Be2 may be one of the best apps you've played in a long time. I do wish that the controls were more straightforward, perhaps allowing for vertical and horizontal control on every screen. I've never been one to criticize difficulty, but Escape From Pongland can get ridiculously difficult at times.

BattleSpell is an enjoyable card battling game but one that lacks something crucial – multiplayer.

The real problem is that there is simply not enough to do.

Graphically, Bar Oasis is pretty crisp. The game uses actual liquor bottles, rather than manufactured ones.

It's a well done game that surely appeals to an audience out there. For me it just wasn't a standout.

If you are a fan of Pong and Breakout, or are just looking for a way to pass a few minutes here and there, The Ball Is Too Fast is a great buy. It's not exactly the deepest game out there, but it's quite fun for what it is.

It's an extremely laid back game where not a huge amount happens.

Charming and fun to play. Trying to best your previous high score is fun and adds to the game's replay value, but not much.

There is definitely room for improvement, but Avatar of War: The Dark Lord's gesture system does make for an interesting experience.

Sideways Racing makes for a great arcade racer. Harking back to the old days of top down racing is an excellent move and it makes Sideways Racing all the more endearing.

Auditorium is unusual, soothing, inventive, and extraordinarily pretty. If you're looking for a sleek puzzle game, put this one on your list for sure.

As far as physics hurlers go, Attraxxion is a nice looking game that is extremely original.

Attack of the Kraken won't set the world alight with its originality. It feels like a frivolous game rather than one that you'd spend hours with, but it is fun in short bursts. Just don't expect a revolution in gaming: it's a shallow affair but one that's still quite fun to indulge in.

Unfortunately, the sub-par visuals and uncooperative controls all work against the game, and all it takes is a little bit of frustration to send players scampering for another title. Still, if you can look past those faults you'll likely have some good fun with this one.

Ultimately, Assemblage does a great job of capturing both the simplicity and complexity of building something and making it last.

As far as games go, it's fairly run of the mill.

It'll provide a few hours of gameplay and does enough different from others in the genre to make me feel like I'm playing something new and fresh. It won't wow you or be on any end of the year lists, but for a buck it's not a bad buy at all.

If you are looking for a unique experience in the app store and enjoy turn based fighting, An Art of War may be a good bet. It's not perfect, but it is challenging… something that I can't say for many games that I see.

An excellent strategy game. Just be forewarned…it's also extremely difficult.

For an accelerometer based game, Alice's Fall works smoothly, but the sudden changes in direction and the seemingly random bonks on the head by books and the like will quickly drive you nuts.

It's cute, fun, easy to get into, inexpensive and (according to Chillingo) will be getting even more levels in future updates. Solving ecological disasters has never been so entertainingly surreal.

Tecmo Bowl may have the soul of the classic series, but it lacks the technical execution to be as good as its ancestors.

A great port of the 1992 arcade beat 'em up, for better and for worse.

Does feel a tad expensive for what it offers.
