Without an "endless" mode or some other such business that we've all grown accustomed to in our iOS games, I worry that some players will simply expect to beat To-Fu: The Trials of Chi in a matter of days (or several consecutive hours) and move on to the next title. While this is certainly a possiblity, as it is with most popular App Store offerings, it's still bound to be an enjoyable experience.

AR Invaders is a lot of fun, and I had a lot of fun playing it.

Sudoku Ninja is a perfectly functional sudoku game but could do with something more than quirky looks to stand out from the crowd.

Puzzle Sphere is an entertaining app with a sizable portion of content and a challenging but rewarding difficulty curve. Players seeking out an action puzzle game should find the whole experience quite satisfying.

Velocispider is a bit lacking in content, but not in fun. What started out as a fun game jam idea has turned into a great little retro arcade game for the App Store.

Kung Fu Spinner isn't for everyone because it lacks depth, but it did prove to be enjoyable as a pick-up and play title when I didn't have much time to game.

For the price, RC vCar is a fun distraction and it will probably impress peers at the office, but without any source of motivation it can grow tiresome.

Until Wizards of the Coast finally creates an official Magic the Gathering adaptation for iOS, Orions 2 is likely as close as it gets.

There isn't anything excessively new and shocking in Red Ball 3, but the combination of concepts combined from similar titles makes an enjoyable experience. Game Center, Crystal, Achievements, and hidden gifts compliment the game nicely.

Prince Penny is a charming, cute and decently entertaining experience. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of incentives to play the game, such as things to unlock, which detracts from the game's lasting appeal. That noted, it's still a good-looking, fun experience for iOS, and it's only a buck at that.

Anodia does everything just right. It sticks to a tried and tested formula but adds a much needed dose of originality to make it a great game in its own right.

Personally, I think it's worth the price for anyone looking for a good RPG to have on-the-go – assuming they aren't already loaded down with iOS role-playing games, that is.

As a brief distraction, it makes for a reasonable enough form of entertainment. Just don't expect it to stick around on your iOS device for very long.

Gobliins 2 is a good game at heart, but due to problematic controls (coupled with lots of timed puzzles) and a vast array of incredibly obtuse puzzles, it's easily eclipsed by other more accessible titles.

Bad Rabbit is a fun little title. It's simple to learn but addictive too. Action is fast paced but it makes sure to build up gradually so that players never feel overwhelmed.

I'm not likely to continue playing Touchgrind BMX on my iPhone because of how much of the screen my fingers cover. But I'll probably continue playing it on my iPad regardless of the awkward switchover.

Anyone who legitimately enjoys the "freemium" model will probably like playing the zoo version of that other game they've already been playing for months. I just think it's too simplified and drawn-out to hold the average player's interest for more than a minute or two. If that.

A fun physics-based iPhone game that can be played in a remarkably open-ended manner. And it's only a dollar. Very cool.
