It combines role playing, collection, and match 3 elements incredibly well and it can be very difficult to put down when trying to earn enough tertiary characters to level up a favorite.- 148Apps

It's got style, presentation, and plenty of replayability to keep people hooked for as long as they might need the distraction.- 148Apps

The player has so much more control in Super Crate Box than they do in Flip's Escape, and that's why I think that game works better with the same concept.- 148Apps

All in all, $0.99 is a minimal risk to give this game a whirl, and fans of the slingshot, bow and arrow, catapult style games will find some interesting complexity and enjoyable features with this game. Those who have found themselves exhausted with this style may find respite somewhere else.- 148Apps

Its emphasis on slow-burn cash earning creates a different pace than the titles fans might be more accustomed to, but it's every bit as addictive and charming.- 148Apps

This is a fun little racer that suffers from a few problems, and I found myself hoping a future update could address these and make this the racer that it truly deserves to be.- 148Apps

Horn is a well-crafted game that has been well thought out. The story is creative and lovingly presented, and works with the thematic concepts perfectly. Aside from very few control issues, this is definitely a great game that shouldn't go unnoticed.- 148Apps

It's particularly refreshing that in-app purchases are far from vital to progress. A rarity in such a money focused genre.- 148Apps

Much like the Trials series and Mad Skills Motocross, there will be swearing under your breath but also that urge to come back for more.- 148Apps

My Kingdom For The Princess III is pretty enjoyable casual fodder, however. There's not a huge amount of challenge within the story mode, more a matter of keeping up with taps, but it's fun in a 'Switch your brain off' kind of way.- 148Apps

When played in chunks throughout the day, Kingdoms & Lords is a fine, mildly engaging way to kill some time. Just be sure not to try and dig too deep too fast.- 148Apps

Besides this odd control jumpiness, Bad Hotel is a delicious treat for eyes, ears, and intellect. It's a delightful way to spend some time in a nice comfy chair, iPad in hand, with perhaps a glass of wine and fuzzy slippers upon the feet.- 148Apps

The one thing I want to see more of from Kid Vector? More levels. Having more content would definitely be welcome. For fans of trial platformers and/or the vector style, this is worth checking out.- 148Apps

It's extremely addictive, it has a great Game Center multiplayer mode, and it has moles. Yes, it's also supported by in-app purchases for more gems, but the game hands them out frequently enough for upgrades. This is a fantastic game.- 148Apps

Recurse will never prove popular when played alone, but it comes into its own with a group of friends or while entertaining the kids. It's energetic and lively, and there really is nothing else like it for the iPad.- 148Apps

I found myself strangely liking this game. It has a certain charm about it that is rare in a lot of games, and although the entire game consists of only five opponents, I kept coming back for just one more go, which is all that can be asked of any game, I think.- 148Apps

MazzyBoyHD has so much potential to become a great game, but it needs some work to get there. Players looking for a game to kill some time and those who are big fans of labyrinth style games may want to give this one a try. It's definitely not a game that I can recommend to everyone, but it's worth giving it a shot since this iPad game costs less than one dollar.- 148Apps

Sticky Linky is pretty straight forward. Levels may be slightly different throughout but the format never changes amongst the 54 stages included. Fortunately, that's not really needed as Sticky Linky serves its purpose well. A steady supply of achievements further the cause for keeping players happy during their quick bursts of gaming, although long sessions may highlight the repetitious nature of the game.- 148Apps

The Strix isn't the longest of games by any means, meaning the $6.99 asking price is a slightly tall order. But, while there's nothing revolutionary to be seen here, there's also nothing shocking about Tales from the Dragon Mountain: the Strix either. It walks the line of respectability quite confidently but never has the nerve to dare to be different.- 148Apps

Monster Hunter Anniversary Edition isn't a bad game, but because it borrows so heavily from well-established licenses, unfortunately, it doesn't stand out. If you're a tower-strategy fiend, this is a cool addition to your collection, but it won't produce many memorable moments, nor push boundaries in this altogether familiar genre.- 148Apps

It's just a shame the developers haven't given players much of a hook and instead chosen to show the behind-the-scenes mechanics that power the genre, rather than forcing them to sift through a series of pre-deterrmined events.- 148Apps

The relentless push towards purchasing and a poorly thought out reward system plagues Pitfall!. Other games use upgrades to help players make permanent progress and that feeds the addiction. Pitfall!, however, falls into an avaricious money pit and ultimately feeds frustration.- 148Apps

Unlike its big brother Puerto Rico, it's universal, so it can be played on both the iPhone and iPad, plus it's more immediately understandable and playable. Anyway, once you visit San Juan, you might just want to see what the rest of Puerto Rico has to offer.- 148Apps
