    literally the best album in 2017 so far and I'm sure it will be the best album that released this year! Yes these are very big words to speak right now but this shows how good the album is! It might be her best album. Every song in the album shows how hard she worked for this album!

    It is truly one of the best albums of the year! Just don't give up on it after the first listen. The album is such a grower! My favorites are Roulette and Power. What is great, that she is being very personal in most of the songs and it gets me every time.

    This is the MASTERPIECE of Katy Perry. Passion, energy, feeling and vulnerability that enclosed in the same place gave birth to this cd. The instruments are something really unique and rare. The texts, which may have a first impact seem simple, are really well taken care of and, above all, very easy to remember. 'Miss you more' and 'Hey Hey Hey' are the best in my opinion.     This is a fantastic album.Not deliberately exaggerated,Lyrics are easy to understand, but at the same time it is meaningful.Album production is also commendable, and artwork complement each other.

    The album is wonderful, it's something new and different that we had not seen much in Katy. It is clear that Katy grew a lot and learned a lot from all that. Maybe many "critics" do not like this change, but Katy is always changing and I love it!

    There are only a few Katy Perry songs that I enjoy listening to, but she really changed that with this album. A friend convinced me to give it a listen, and I was very surprised with her work. She has definitely matured as an artist and is starting to go in a great direction with her music.

Katy Perry left deciding to change and now composed lyrics a little somber and with bands very different from what she would release years ago, the album can transport you to another world, where Katy tries to open her eyes to things that we should pay attention to.
    Despite the resiliency that was very present on the album, Katy brought strong and powerless lyrics as in Power, hey hey and pendulum, she was still able to highlight her vocals in the tracks.
    Although the first singles did not get a good approval from the public it is necessary to give a chance to this album that has great songs but that need to be digested in a slow way so as not to frighten its listeners.    … Expand

    I honestly like the album. Way better than Prism. The production is great. It showed more of her vocals too. She does ballads so well because they suit her voice. She's not the best songwriter, we all know that, but this album definitely showed more growth. I can appreciate that.

    This album is simply wonderful! Totally different from his previous works, approaching social themes that are in our faces, but that we prefer to pretend that it is not too much. At Witness, we can feel this empowerment in many ways, and again Katy Perry did not disappoint us at all!

Katy did something new with this album, I love how Witness has different vibes, like dark and sad vibes in some songs but light vibes in other songs.     This album is really amazing. The production is very next level and her vocals take you to another place. Great album for Katy! The highlight off the album are Witness, Hey Hey Hey, Power, Tsunami, Save As Draft and Into Me You See, this last one is an increbie ballad that show us how vulnerable Katy is.

    While it's certainly missing any form of coherency, Witness does feel like you're growing with Perry - going on this journey that's helped her find new ground and a reinvigorated appreciation for all walks of the pop music spectrum.

    It’s a real shame Witness has come out as a bit of a disjointed mess, as there’s a decent record somewhere in there, but it gets lost in the fog of endless guest productions and co-writes that miss the point entirely.
