    The best album of the year! Highlight Cry about it later and champagne problems. Super intimate and touching lyrics, no doubt Katy is one of the best songwriters of her generation.
    The journey she spent battling depression brought a lot of baggage to a beautiful album. The fact that she is the executive producer alone still gives the music more power. I just loved it!

    This is literally one of the best album of 2020. Katy Perry did that being pregnant during a pandemic. Great production, great sounds and beautiful lyrics. This is so inspiring and brilliant. This is a 10/10.

    BUT the metascore rating is way TOO LOW! Please, be more focused on the music while doing those "critic reviews". Don't drag the artist down. Do not remark the past.     Just perfect.
    Opening it with Never really over (I will not forget nor forgive how you left this bop flop) following of Cry about it later (my favorite song) and Teary eyes just it says what she's going to bring on the table.
    Smile and Daisies make sense inside the record, bad choices of singles. Once you get to champagne problems you know is your second favorite record from this queen    Just perfect.

I was kinda worried about her recent single and worry that this album will underperform like “Witness” or the background instrumentals will sound a little bit dull like her previous record. HOWEVER, the present of “Cry About It Later” and “Not the End of the World” just WOW me, the later one especially feels like “Dark Horse” and “Black Widow”(alsoI think Katy Perry just redeemed herself. I was kinda worried about her recent single and worry that this album will underperform like “Witness” or the background instrumentals will sound a little bit dull like her previous record. Smile is the perfect definition of a innovative comeback while not loosing her authentic self. Tracks like Tucked or Teary Eyes show the old Katy Perry critics were missing when she dropped Witness, however it seems like double standards and misogyny make them not really appreciate thisI really hope this album makes the “professional” critics start focusing on the art and not the artist.     I loved every song and every lyric, I don’t know why the Metascore is so low because all of those biased “critics“ just dragged her and wrote hypocrite articles to attack her as a person instead of criticise the album.

From the amazing production, to the amazing dance beats to the lyrics. She truly outdid herself and made her best album since prism, dare i say Teenage Dream?

Teenage Dreams also broke so many records but got such a bad review, but now it the 2nd only album in the entire history of pop to have 5#1's , the second being Michael Jackson's Bad. The songs have a lot of meaning. Katy's vocals are better than ever which is her strongest point.     i love this album especially ONLY LOVE. she really is the moment. the critics can choke for they are miserable for having that kind of taste and barely rating it for how good it is.

    One of her best works to date!!! Love the instrumentals and the overall feeling. The singles do not do it justice, however (Perhaps that lack of promotion would have made for a better outcome). But not a single song is a skip on the record. Stop sleeping on this amazing artist and let’s take her vest seriously. She worked tirelessly to bring this album to life, especially at a time whereOne of her best works to date!!! Love the instrumentals and the overall feeling.     Smile is Katy Perry’s best album. It has surprisingly beaten Teenage Dream and Prism, and it deserves to be recognized as one of the best works of 2020 (if not THE best). It’s a shame critics prefer being harsh without any reason, because this is a masterpiece that needs to be heard by everyone.

    This is the best album ever...there are a couple songs that they deserve being recognized and known by the whole world, Teary Eyes' the best song ever and one of my favorites from the album, such a masterpiece, a piece of Art. Katy gave us her best, so we should be thankful with her.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
