    What a fun and beautiful album! Most of the songs are jams that really can bring a smile back, a sense of gratitude and moving on with a happy life. I'm obsessed with "Tucked", "Teary Eyes", "Champagne Problems", "Harley's in Hawaii" and "What Makes a Women" (the ending of this song is just... Feels!). Gonna keep it on repeat

    This is probably one of the most cohesive that Katy Perry have done ever. The album has a lot of bangers, bops and happy moments but it also has reflexive and personal tracks, such as Daisies and Only Love. My favourites songs are Cry about It Later and Not The End of the World!

    This is one of her best albums, without a doubt.

    She started the KP5 era with amazing droplets (365, Never Really Over, Harleys In Hawaii, Small Talk, Never Worn White). Daisies and Smile were excellent single choises as they show the cute and sweet side of Katy. What Makes A Woman and Cry About It Later are one of the best tracks.

    I can't believe how critics are comparing her to other female artists even though she is different than others.
    It is probably her Best Album. Teary Eyes is such an amazing song as well.

    I’m not the biggest pop music fanatic because i usually just listen to hiphop or rnb but this record hits differently. I’d have to say it’s impressive how this album has no fillers, and it only shows how talented katy perry is because she was able to pull off a skipless album despite being pregnant with a global crisis. Witness was a 7/10 for me but this one surely is 10/10 if only i canI’m not the biggest pop music fanatic because i usually just listen to hiphop or rnb but this record hits differently.     This album is everything we could have ever dreamed of. All of the songs have good lyrics, great beats, and make you want to cry happy tears and get up and dance all at the same time. It’s so refreshing to see Katy Perry has finally gotten back her Smile! This album has no skips, every single track is so special. I’ll be listening to this on repeat for a long time.

    The old pop Katy, but much grown. The whole album is dancing with teary eyes, smile through the pain, sad lyrics with happy sound. All the songs get well together with each other. Katy Perry has her smile back.

    Everything about this album makes it Katys best. From the top #15 hit Never Really Over as the opener to the laid back country-esque closing track. Not to mention all the dancy empowering tracks in between. With the current events going on in the world, Katy gives us 37 minutes of relief and dancing with Smile.

    Better than Prism, I would give an easy 8/10 note, during the whole album only 2 songs don't fit much, with everything like other tracks it has a very well structured passage, it is cohesive and brings a much more mature and reflective Katy, she tries to show that she has gone through ruined moments and that now she can breathe because she has done her best.

    At the present moment it is all that we need to hear and that we are living. The album brings the 80's and 90's sounds like on the track Cry About Later and Champgne Problems (the guitar resembles the band Pink Floyd), Tucked (remembers a Europop, Kyle Minougue style), but I would say the pop's highlight is to rescue all this "old" influence in a subtle way, that is, it is an album almost on the same level as the teen dream, as songs will not grow old as they are nostalgic and timeless. It builds something solid and beautiful with sonoridases of not so relevant songs from Teenage Dream and One Of the Boys, leaving only to be desired in the Smile track that could easily be replaced by the bonus track High On Your Supply and Not the end of the world that runs away a little bit of the Album's sound context.

She delivered great pop songs with good lyrics and staying true to herself at the same time she was staying true to her own sound, wich, my opinion, she made it evolve. My favorite songs on the album are Cry About It Later, Not the End of the World and Never Really Over.

    Unexpectedly great. Her best album! Cry About it Later, Teary Eyes, Champagne Problems, Tucked and Not the End of the World could all be amazing singles. The album is a more cohesive and mature version of Teenage Dream, and it means a lot for a pop album.

    "Smile" It has that typical vibe that Perry albums contain, it makes you smile with each song, without a doubt an album that surpasses its predecessor in all aspects, it is as if each song was a "bop"

    It’s sooooo good, Katy outdid herself this time, surpassing even her most iconic album ‘teenage dream’ ,but there’s a problem and it’s not about the album nor Katy, but the critics seem to be reviewing Katy as a person instead of the music. METACRITIC YOU NEED TO CHANGE THIS MESS, DO BETTER!

    This pop masterpiece stays true to its name, it really makes you SMILE! Listening to this album I felt so many emotions, with every lyric, every line and every song Katy digs deeper into her soul and exposes her feelings and emotions.
    From surviving serious depression twice in career, it seems she’s finally found inner peace and I’m so grateful she has shared this experience with us.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
