    It’a a nice album to listen while you chill or drive... I personally love the upbeat take on the songs with powerful lyrics. A nice album in my opinion... As a LittleMonster to the freakin’ core, I can say that this is one of the best albums of the year alongside Dua and Gaga’s latest projects 7/10

    This album is one of her best yet. It's fun and relatable. It's like a mix of all her previous albums with a touch of maturity. All songs are single worthy for their overall quality.

    I've followed KP's career for so many years now and i gotta say this album is so generic and mediocre.
    She gave us masterpieces as teenage dream and prism and then ruined her whole career with witness and now this, smile.
    The only reason i put 3 is because of CAIL and WMAW. I really miss the old Katy.

    First of all i just wanted to point out that these critics are really biased and u shouldn't trust a single thing they say, a critic actually gave this album a 20/100, yes, u heard that right.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
